Question on how to do this.

    Hi. Me and my sister have a question; what mutations or powers or whatever would you need to make an animal do this? He's unhinging his jaw, which a snake jaw would work for, but we want to know how he would grow in a bunch of more teeth to make his gums bleed like that. Is there a way he could grow and retract teeth at will?

    Maybe shark teeth? Sharks have a lot of teeth
    and it could be more terrifying with multiple layers of teeth haha


    Maybe new teeth are constantly growing? cutting through the gums making them bleed?

    soo.. just looked up on the web for this
    & apparently alligators can loose and regrow a tooth up to fifty times
    i don't know if you'll be able to do something with that
    buut
    i was also thinking, maybe ever-growing & regenerating teeth?
    you know how old people often chip and break their teeth more than younger people
    hence, more delicate?
    maybe you could pick a certain time period of 'life' [kind of like battery life in a way/ how long it will last] for the teeth.
    and i guess you can decide whether some teeth are older than others or all are aging at the same time, but i believe that the 'some' option would be better because he already has so many
    and you don't want him to bite someone when all his teeth are old and just loose them all

    I think he starts out with regular serval teeth, just whenever he wants, he can grow a bunch more, which wedge between his other teeth and burst through the skin which causes his gums to bleed? I'm not sure if you can do that, but we don't want the multiple teeth to be in his mouth at all times. Just when he feels like scaring someone (since he is a demon). The alligator one seems like it might work?

    i would say shapeshifting, and have him shapeshift into the body with the extra teeth- since the only difference would be the teeth, there wouldnt be a problem i dont think ?
