We Will Protect This Earth - ((No longer WIP, OPEN!))

We, are the crystal gems. We're still alive, and we're still the guardians of this planet. At least those of us that are left. Which isn't really that many in the grand scheme of things. We used to be led by a gem by the name of Rose Quartz, but at some point during the conflict she was... lost. Or maybe shattered. Really none of us are quite sure. But her memories live on in every one of us, and the memories of the other gems that fought along side us.
After we lost Rose a different gem took command, another quartz, a valiant warrior and a gem that shared her spirit and love of all things on earth. This gem was called Sunset Quartz, and she was able to bring us together, and make our little group somewhat whole again. It felt almost a hollow victory really, losing Rose, most of our friends, our companions, either shattered in the conflict or corrupted somewhere along the way. Sunset Quartz helped us remember what we had fought for, and how astounding this planet was, and how much it deserved to be protected.
Years past, well actually thousands of years really, and we kept our vigil on our little island under the watch of Sunset quartz. Over the years, humans had moved in and made a little town that had the name city thrown in to make it seem a little bigger, and somewhere along the lines, more recently actually, Sunset quartz met a human who... Piqued her interests. More so than any others that we had encountered over the centuries we were here. He was a nice enough little human, that Ben, maybe a bit of a dreamer ((He was an artist, and she was his muse)), but that could have been why she liked him so much. And as they got to know each other she cam to make the decision to... Give up her physical form to bring a new life into the world ((Much to the objection of some of us... Although she didn't tell us until it was way to late to change that decision)). The kinds of which we never had really seen before. Part gem part human. We just called her Sara.
It's been a little bit over ten or twelve years now, and that's where we are now...

•Appearance: Her coloration is a bit more greyish, and her her hair with metallic rust colored flecks, along with those same colored specks over her body similar to human freckles.

• Jeff - Musician who can often be found playing on the pier, knows a lot about what goes on, but rarely talks. ((NPC))

1Samrg ; Yes I have plans for a story line. At the moment it isn't fully developed, I was actually hoping that I would have other involvement and critique from others.
At the moment I plan to have involvement with homeworld gems, a half human half gem as a sort of catalyst for a lot of the plot points, and something like more complete home world forced fusions, more precise. Etc. A lot of it is rough at the moment and I'd want to work on it with you all.

@Wιѕтerια; Glad to hear about it! If there are any ideas you wanted I'd love to hear it.

Once ; I'm glad you've shown interest! Don't worry, that should be fine. It's been a while for me as well to be honest but I kind of wanted to do something involving it. Hence why this at the moment is a little disorganized and such.

And since this has shown significant interest, I will get to work retooling that first post and making it a join able thing. Look forward to the completed project sometime soon.

Alright! I've written up a short backstory and made a basic form that you can use, or disregard and use your own! I'm also glad to see another interested in joining, welcome!
I know it's kind of copy-catish for the plot of the show, but I'm trying to deviate in some ways, and so notes would really be appreciated! I want this to be our story, not just my story that you all are members of that I'm forcing to fit in set roles.

And YES YES YES! Feel free to make human characters, actually that would be really rad. Otherwise I get a feeling this town will feel rather empty. Give them lives, make them interesting, really it all would be cool.

EDIT; We will be starting in a bit, I'll probably make this both the RP and Sign up Thread just to be easy for everyone, and I'll make a first post I think either by tomorrow or once one more person signs up.
