    That was actually a good question - one that Kate didn't have the answer to. "I have no idea," she'd answer gravely, blue eyes full of nostalgia. [b]"Maybe we as the Commune guild could bring it back! I'm pretty sure it's part of our job description to implement new customs into the Clan." Of course, they'd have to check with Phantom, but the thought of bringing Familiars back brought a wave of hope crashing through Kate's chest. This was one change that she knew she'd like - it would make it feel like the old days again. Of course there wouldn't be the same people, but she did like the people who made up SunClan and seeing who they all chose as Familiars would be quite interesting.

    Actually, Kate wasn't the only one that knew about familiars - Phantom actually had one, but Polly hadn't been around for a while. Pyre planned on bringing the canary back at some point, but she hadn't had the muse. Phantom didn't like Polly that much, but she did want there to be more traditions and SunClan to go back to it's roots. "Go ahead." She said, giving her permission to try to bring the Familiars back.

    Kate clapped her paws together and gleefully smiled as the leader gave her approval for the idea. Now that they were allowed to, that was a good question. The lab thought for a moment, her forehead furrowing and her blue eyes hardened. You couldn't just 'announce' a new tradition - technically, one could, but there were probably better ways to introduce the Familiars back. "Hm.." Suddenly, her optics brightened and she looked up with obvious excitement. [b]"Maybe we could tie it into your first lesson, Heavenlypup!" she'd exclaim, leaping to her paws. [b]"Start off by teaching the Clan about the custom, then explain how we can bring it back by finding Familiars of our own." She gazed at the fem, wondering what her reaction would be.

    And in came Yosafire in a flurry of flailing limbs, wings, some tears and a LOT of apologies. "I fell asleep in the garden and forgot this was going on! I'm really, reeeeeally sorry! So, so sorry!" The demon gushed and bowed her head in apparent shame. D'oh, Phantom was gonna' make her pull weeds for sure! Mmngh. This wasn't good at all. Her ears eventually twitched upwards, however, at the mention of... familiars? That embarrassment and regret she felt moments prior disappeared right away.


    She gasped and bounced to her feet, her eyes growing wide. "Familiars?! Whazzat? Sounds like somethin' out of Dungeons and Dragons!"

    [justify][size=10]And then Yosafire appeared. The canine managed to jump out of the way so the winged demon didn't push her over, giving a soft giggle at the sudden turn of events. "It's probably fine. You're here now and that's all that matters," the Lady barked with a warm smile. At the inquiry about Familiars she lit up. "Oh, yes! Kate and I are trying to reinstate some of the old SunClan customs into modern day SunClan. Familiars are like little critters that follow you around and you have a bond with... or something like that. Kate explained it better than me," Heavenlypaw babbled, blushing sheepishly beneath her jet black fur.
