her mother was a medicine cat with a similar personality. shy, meek, and humble. she was however, incredibly beautiful, not unlike lightpaw herself. gingerleaf was her name. gingerleaf was a medicine cat, and therefore forbidden to fall in love or have kits... but she found herself in love with a rouge named rage. he had wound up in ginger's clan after a battle between ginger's clan and another clan. he had fought for ginger's clan, and had come out of the battle barely alive. gingerleaf helped nurse him back to health, and therefore fell for him. but the evil and corrupt leader of ginger leaf's clan would not take it, because he, too, was hopelessly in love with the beautiful medicine cat. despite the love coming from both toms, gingerleaf was very proud of her position and it's rules, and did not choose either of the toms... at least of her own accord. gingerleaf became pregnant with a litter of kits- to her despair as well as her delight. lightpaw does not talk about the rest of her life out of respect for the sister she adores, as northwind has asked her to not speak of their past together.
