The young girl had been simply wandering in the general direction of the unknown male, her usual expression of mirth set upon her features and her older twin sister more than likely in tow as well, as the pair of them would very rarely be seen apart from each other. A yellow hooded jacket that ended short of her hindlegs (complete with a rather cutesy pair of fabric ears that fitted very neatly over her own) and a dark green skirt rather similar to something a human might wear, an outfit that contrasted her sister's in color, would be seen covering a large amount of her chocolate brown fur as she came to a halt in front of the stranger, following his gaze. Hmm...was he fascinated by the wall? Understandable, understandable. The pair of them had arrived in the Stadt out of pure curiosity from hearing their own fair share of rumors. As one might expect, the more talkative twin had been the driving force behind this change in habitat, insisting on going to see what all the fuss was about. Although the pair were used to the abnormal thanks to the large number of rather strange occurrences they had been subjected to back at their mutual home city, to say that the immense wall that acted as a protective layer for the inner camps had excited her would have been a gross understatement. She and Kururi had teased at it and discussed it on every social media platform available to them and had engaged in lengthy conversations about it themselves, with herself making up for most of the dialogue outside of the internet, and vice versa online. They had also attempted to make contact with their older brother to no avail - from what Mairu had last heard of him, he was up to some sort of scheme in Blizzardclan. She was sure that she'd get the opportunity to see him at some later stage. Of course, there were still a multitude of unanswered questions nagging at her as well that she didn't plan to give up on finding satisfactory explanations for, though.
[b]"Isn't it impressive? We were thinking of placing bets on how long it took to build it...there's gotta be someone out there who knows, right? But it has to be super ancient and important, because I don't even think it has any function! What do you suppose they were trying to keep out? What could possibly be so tall that they'd need a wall so giant?" she would chirp, making fitting gestures with her paws and allowing her voice to take on that teasing edge that those who knew her within the group would be quite accustomed to. Her attention had landed on the russet-eyed individual and didn't waver. Oh, he had to be about her own age, and Kururi's age, right? That should be an improvement on their past predicament, since there were a lot of geezers looming about, and a bunch of younger children who they'd probably get in trouble for trying to connive with. Some people had no sense of fun, did they? Much like back at Ikebukuro, the sisters' antics were unlikely to be viewed as charming so much as an annoyance. Shizuo, for instance, had always seemed terribly aggravated by their interest in Yuhei, hadn't he? What a grump. "Did you come here just to see the wall - a tourist, that is? Or are you here to join us? Or maybe you're scheee-ming?" she tagged on. After this barrage of queries, asked in very quick succession, she would reach up a paw to try to reassuringly grab his shoulder, only momentarily. She was evidently becoming restless, and more excited and involved in the situation, as she did so very quickly on any occasion. "Ah, kidding, kidding! What are you doing here though? Oh, and I think we'll need your name, too. It's just some formality, the name and business thing. Kuru-nee and I had to go through that when we joined...speaking of which, I never introduced myself, even though we're just meeting! I'm Orihara Mairu." After her introduction, she would turn her gaze to her older twin sister, who would hopefully be at her side at this stage.
