• Ethias rolled his head to one side. "You should be grateful you didn't catch his attention." He continued, as if he knew Sergio closely. Tac started to rush out the door, but yet again, Ethias shoved him back. He snarled, gripping his ribcage in silent pain. His eyes glared ruefully back up at his enemy. "It's been a long day, alright? Just go back to bed with Miles." He brushed the conversation off stiffly. Ethias sent a scolding look to Tac, signalling that was rude.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] Cale swallowed nervously and looked up at Tac, nodding a bit,"Yessir,"he said stiffly, his tail only flicking slightly to show his discontent. When the dishes were done, the neko wiped off his hands and looked back to the gathered men. He knew he'd have no allies here, no one that would show him sympathy. So he didn't mention how he hadn't eaten very much that day; besides the omelete late in the day yesterday, Cale honestly couldn't remember if he had eaten at all. It certainly didn't feel like it. Sighing heavily, he looked down to his feet,"When do we go to bed?" [/fancypost]

  • Tac slowly turned to look at Cale. As if the neko were stupid, he gave him a weird look. "When you've eaten dinner?" He rolled his eyes, looking back down at his hands. He wasn't going to get to leave untill Ethias saw it fit. Ethias pointed at the neatly wrapped dished on the counter, the cling wrap fogged with steam. "Didn't see them?" He asked.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] Cale followed his direction, giving a slight nod, "I saw,"he said quietly. Try as he might, he couldn't convince himself that he was 'part of the family' like the rest, and therefore the food wasn't really for him. However, he wasn't going to chance Tac's rage today, so he meekly padded back across the kitchen and located himself a new plate, tentatively unwrapping the dish and spooned some of the contents onto his plate before rewarding it tight. Aware of Tac's continuous gaze, Cale slink over to the far wall, so he could eat staring out the window. [/fancypost]

  • Ethias shrugged as if to say, 'yeah right'. Then he faced his back to Cale and read the ancient book that was in his hands.

Miles walked down the corridor, his clothing tucked under his arm. His one regret was glancing out of the window into the courtyard. Isaac. Why was he still here? With great reluctance, he pushed himself to exit the building and approach his brother. "Fierce cat, huh?" He muttered.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] Cae didn't waste time finishing his meal, and washed his plate without hesitating. As he turned back to the others, he finally noticed that Miles was no longer there. He sighed slightly, his tail twitching near his feet; he must have already gone up to his room. With a roll of his shoulders, Cale slipped out of the room and quietly closed the doors behind him, hurrying up to miles' room. [/fancypost]

  • Isaac moved around to face his brother slowly, as if he had no time to talk. "I'm leaving soon. I'd just like to find Miles first." He smirked, giving Isaiah's name to the slave. Miles glanced at the azure daisies, unsure of how to respond. He began to say something, but only a heavy sigh came out. "You wouldn't come here just to beat me up, Isaac. Why did you come?" He asked tiredly. "And don't say it was because of Cale- you didn't know he existed until he spilled your blood."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] He was more than confused when he realized Miles wasn't in his room. He sighed a bit; well, alright then. He began to tentatively tidy the room, nothing drastic, just picking up trash and organizing piles of junk. When that was done, the neko carefully tucked himself under one of the blankets in Miles' bed, resting on his back and staring up at the ceiling. [/fancypost]

  • Miles frowned when Isaac didn't reply. He waved a hand at him. "Nevermind, I don't even want to know." He turned away to leave when is brother spoke. "Dad." He stated simply. "It's because of Dad." Miles didn't stop to talk again. He had no desire to discuss his father. He half ran back to his room, tears threatening to spill out of his eyes.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] Cale jerked awake from the half sleep he had drifted into, at the sound of the bedroom door being shoved open. Immediately his hackles rose and he was shoved on edge, but Miles... those were indeed tears in his eyes, and he forced himself calm. "Sir,"he said as he got up, his voice tentively sweet, a half glimpse to the kit he was on the inside, "Sir come here, what's wrong?" [/fancypost]

  • Miles was temporarily stunned at the sudden apperance of Cale. He didn't ask him to come here! The worst part was, this kid knew how weak he really was. Miles could act as tough as he wanted, but he wasn't invincible. He guessed that Cale saw the distress in him and put on an act, but it didn't quite seem that way. He remained silent as a quickly changed his clothes out for the new ones. He couldn't hide anything from this person it seemed.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] Cale stopped immediately, quickly turning to watch Miles as he dressed, "Master,"he said weakly, thigh wasn't really able to continue. Logic told him to shut his mouth and keep it shut because speaking only seemed to ruin things, always had, so that was what he did. When Miles turned back around, Cale had taken another seat on the bed, and patted it a bit, indicating Miles should sit besides him. [/fancypost]

  • Miles quietly moved forward, but dropped to his knees in front of Cale, wrapping his arms around the other and embracing him. "Haah. Long day, wasn't it?" He murmured casually, although he wasn't too calm after the second meeting with his brother. "Sorry, this probably makes you uncomfortable, but can I stay like this just a bit longer?" He asked, his chin rested on his servant's shoulder. What an abnormal relationship. He simply shrugged the thought away.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] Cale wasn't used to being embraced, but he accepted the hug by wrapping his arms around Miles' waist, "Of course, Sir,"he said quietly, smiling against his neck,"It doesn't make me uncomfortable,"he said, surprised to find it honest,"I... like this."[/fancypost]

  • Miles opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. How the hell was he supposed to respond to that?He couldn't find anything to say, but he tried anyway. "I-is that good?" He murmured slowly, and mentally slapped himself. What are you saying, idiot!? He cursed himself, closing his eyes as he sighed.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] "Mhm,"he nodded, his face flushed red, "sorry,"he said quietly, his tail thrashing at his feet,"It... nice, you're warm,"Cale said cautiously, his ears twitching. He didn't know why he was saying these things, but he just wanted to make Miles feel better. [/fancypost]

  • Miles felt warmth flood into his blood again. There was an icy chill in his bones whenever his brother spoke. He didn't know why, he really didn't, but it was almost scary. "Hey, you're the personal heater here, I'm not the one who's warm." He laughed, pulling away only to sit on the bed beside Cale. "You can go back if you want, I won't get mad or anything."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] "No!"he blurted a bit too quickly, "No, it's okay! I like it, I promise,"he murmured into Miles' neck, closing his eyes, "But, can I ask why you were so sad when you came in?"[/fancypost]

  • Miles let out a 'pfft' sound, only barely managing to muffle a laugh. "C'mon, kitty, you really want to poke at my wounds, don't you?" He snickered softly, but stopped to gaze at Cale for a moment. He sighed, lying back to brace himself on his hands, pulling the neko to his chest. "Haaah. I guess it's my fault for being so pathetic," He mused out loud, although the blatant insult to himself didn't hurt him that much. "My brother." He softly ran his hands through the light-colored hair of the other male.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;] Cale scowled as Miles said that, his ears swiveling out to the sides, "He's still here?"the Neko mumbled, his voice sharp and bitter. "Are you okay, sir?"Cale asked after a moment longer, "Is there anything you'd like me to do?"No wonder Miles seemed so upset, his bastard brother was still hovering and probably tormenting the staff. With a rumbling growl, his tail flicked,"Maybe chase him off your property?"[/fancypost]
