  • ((All the yes.))

The next day, the whole group-- save for Isa and Lea-- was out looking for the lost Bloodspill. She hadn't returned the night before, sadly, and Tox had started to get worried. Lena had been sent with Aiden, as he no longer had a partner.

Florin had attempted to look through the mountain paths and the forests, leading Sasha on what amounted to a wild goose chase.

Tox was wandering the town, yelling out two very different names-- both of them were, as Aiden now knew, Bloodspill's. If she could answer to them, it would be really easy.

Lena? Oh, she was forcing Aiden to take her to where he had last seen Blood. If she could catch the scent of food from the other side of the town, she could probably catch the rainwashed scent of the former wolf.

  • Sasha gave a small huff, glancing around,"..... Where the hell even are we....?" She grumbled, pretty sure they were lost.

Lilly was following close behind Tox, occasionally calling out for Bloodspill. The second name confused Lilly, but she decided not to pry.

Aiden just stared ahead as he walked, leading her to where he had yelled at Blood. He was acting kinda sluggish today, kinda like a zombie. He kept thinking about how it was most likely his fault that she was gone.

  • Florin sighed. "We're somewhere between point A and point B, provided we don't know where either of those places are."

Eventually, Tox had to stop. When he sat down on a bench for a break, three small black foxes walked out from behind some bushes. They seemed to have lighter markings, but they were still dark enough to not warrant any attention.

Lena followed behind, scanning the area. She walked on all fours, as though to be closer to any traces she may find of Blood. When they got there, they would see a mess of black fur stuck in the rocks, several splatters of actual blood around the area as well.

  • ".... You could've just said we were lost...." Sasha grumbled, frowning.

Lilly frowned, glancing around. She didn't sit down, and she also didn't seem to notice the three foxes.

Aiden just stared at the scene, narrowing his eyes when he noticed the blood. Was that Blood's blood, or....?

  • Florin shrugged. "We might not be lost. We may just be heading somewhere that we don't know about."

The foxes slunk away. Well, two of them did. The third stayed there, only to hop up onto two legs and dance whilst cheering "The boss is gonna be pleased~!" before it followed the others. Tox was clearly confused by this. So much so that he stood up to follow them.

It was Blood's blood decorating the bloody bloodbath of a scene. Lena approached it, then sniffed at it like a dog, before bounding away towards the docks. There was more blood this way-- also Blood's. "Eh? What happened here?" she asked quietly.

  • Sasha rolled her eyes,"...... Whatever you say...." She huffed.

Lilly stared, but she didn't follow until she noticed Tox was. She hurried to catch up, biting her lip. Shouldn't they find the others?

Aiden hurried after Lena, his worries and suspicions growing with every moment. Man. He had fucked up.

  • Florin sighed, before noticing a skulk of foxes run past. "What the?" he whispered, before going to follow them. "This way."

Tox didn't seem to care that they should find the others. These things weren't going to hold still, after all. And he figured they'd run into the others eventually, so he really didn't have to go BACK for them. Right?

Right. Lena lead the way onto the docks, where the trail would end. Some more foxes were hiding in the shadows now... watching... waiting...

  • Sasha followed, narrowing her eyes. What the fuck?

Lilly glanced around. What were these creatures...? Very clearly they were not, if they were even foxes, ordinary foxes.

Aiden frowned, noticing the foxes in the shadows. He let out a small hiss, glaring at them.

  • The foxes seemed to be leading them outside of the forest, to the docks where Lena and Aiden were. They switched form, laughing as they did. Occasionally, the whisper of 'master will be pleased' rang out.

Tox eventually broke into a run after these foxes, stopping every so often so Lilly could catch up.

Lena frowned. "Why are there foxes here?" she asked. "There's no foxes in Radiant Garden. No. No foxes. How are they here? Aaaaaaiden? Did you bring these foxes here?"

  • Sasha let out a small growl. Master? Who was their 'master'?

Lilly ended up running as well. Tox didn't really need to stop once she did.

"Me?!" Aiden growled, looking over at her,"Why would I have brought them here?!"

  • Florin didn't know. Nobody knew. But that wasn't something they could pay attention to now.

Tox still occasionally stopped. He wasn't used to running in this form yet, after all.

Lena shrank back, squeaking. "I was only asking! I've never seen these things before and I don't know what they are and I don't know what you are so I put two and two together and asked if you brought them!"

  • Sasha kept following the foxes, remaining silent.

Lilly kept following the foxes, knowing that Tox would keep up.

"I'm a faunus!" Aiden huffed as if it were obvious.

  • Florin occasionally tripped over something, alerting the foxes, but he managed to play it off as he had in the past.

And so he did, bounding after Lilly if he fell behind. Soon enough, they were at the docks, where the foxes would disappear, reappearing over by the other three.

"I don't know what a fawn ice is," Lena muttered. "But whatever it is, there's more of those foxes now..."

  • Sasha didn't really pay attention to Florin tripping, more focused on the foxes.

Lilly skidded to a halt, catching her breath. She looked over at Lena and Aiden with a small frown.

Aiden glanced over at Lilly and Tox. They must have been chasing the other ones. He let out a huff, already kinda annoyed with Lena.

  • Soon enough, the foxes would lead them out to the docks, just like they had done for Lilly and Tox. Well, that was one way to regroup.

Tox flopped onto the ground behind Lilly, using this moment to catch his breath as well before standing back up. "...Ah, great," he mumbled. "We've got the foxes, at least, but no way to keep them here..."

Lena made her way over to cling to Lilly instead. She had only been sent with Aiden because her instincts gave her a rather keen sense of smell, and Aiden had known where the trail to Blood would start. She clearly wasn't too pleased with the idea, though.
