[fancypost bgcolor=; border:none; color:white; text-align:justify; width:420px; font-size:10px; margin-top:-6px; line-height:13px;]the process of justice is a complicated one, but in the end, it typically leads to one thing: a criminal getting jailed. then, of course, they'll stay there until they've served their time. there's no chance at redemption once you've been sentenced with an major felony; once you get out, if you get out, most chances you might have had at getting a job are down the drain, which leads back to the life of crime you had lead before you were locked up. kind of fxcked up, isn't it? it's an endless cycle, because if you get caught again, you're thrown right back into jail. you might even get killed in the process. not to say that this process is necessarily bad, of course. most criminals who get in for such a long time deserve their time there, maybe even more.
let's look at this with a different point of view, though- what if the government did release some of these criminals? they're really not the sort of people you'd want hanging around your neighbourhood, sure, but let's say that those unethical tendencies of theirs are put to a somewhat constructive use. welcome to circa 2060- criminals' sentences are often reduced or eliminated in return for assistance in solving difficult cases. such situations are limited to those with more minor felonies on their records- small time drug dealers, petty thieves and conmen, the occasional armed robber or two.
that is, they were limited to minor felons before now. over the past few years, however, a large and well organised criminal group by the name of caveat has been quickly making themselves well known with all sorts of illegal activities, and with how well they've been able to hide themselves. of three members captured, only one has given any amount of information, and it was for the most part useless, leaving one last resource for the government to turn to: criminals of equally extreme caliber.
all six of the chosen felons were, at the time of their cases, fairly famous, and all were considered experts and top dogs in their respective fields of crime. as a result, they were deemed the best choices for tracking down and even eliminating members of the upcoming gang, even considering how dangerous most of them were, what with their connections and previous authority in the world of crime. in return, they'd be released to do their job with minimal restrictions, and given the possibility of conditioned parole depending on their behavior.
although their clearly defined task is to collect information on the opposing group, it's fairly obvious to anyone involved that the government really would prefer them to simply take caveat down, considering the resources that have been exposed to the dangerous ex-criminals. that raises an interesting question, however: with so few limitations set for them to get the job done, what's stopping them from retaking their places at the top of the underground food chain? not a few trackers and the occasional communication, that's for sure.

rules
– wcrpg rules apply.
– please be advanced- id prefer a minimum of three good, chunky paragraphs, with proper grammar and the like. i can understand the occasional loss of muse, however, and i'd rather you actively post than always have a novel written for it.
– as with the above, please be active! don't kiss and diss; at least let me know if you've lost interest.
– the characters are criminals and adults, so some more mature language and activities are to be expected, but lets not get too out of hand.
– pl e a se come up with plot ideas, it's always so much more fun with a ton of character-developing side plots. romance. drama. anything you want just please
– i'd like at least somewhat advanced forms from you all, but you can make up your own form, so long as it includes rank and such. i'd really love for you guys to come up with a background as well.
– i'm probably not going to reserve any characters unless im absolutely confident you'll get the form done in a respectable amount of time. yeah, thats right. i know some of you serial offenders. "ill finish it tonight" im looking at you pupa
– go nuts with your characters, man. i don't care how fxcked up they are, give them the most tear-jerking story you want, just make them interesting and unique, ok?
– if you're bein rude or blatantly disobeying one of my rules ill fight u
notes: (gonna put little tidbits here as i come up with them)
– characters have trackers implanted in their forearms, and are expected to wear a government issued communication device at all times
– general population doesn't actually know they've been released for any sort of purpose
– x

His nickname, perhaps: it isn't what people call him because he's a fun-loving guy towards people as if he is an uncle. Oh, no, not at all. He gave himself that name. He calls himself that because he is indeed fun, but not in the usual term. His way of having fun is much more... intimidating. He adores destruction of all kinds, and enjoys himself the most whenever he can bring about said demolition. Pretty whack, to say the least. This daredevilish nature comes about in the form of a child's personality: energetic, youthful, and overall happy.
