Sojourner wondered if this sort of thing would ever happen to him; would he ever be asked to be someone's mentor? Did he want that? Head tipped to one side, the curious Paladin traipsed over, pausing behind Francis and waiting in expectant silence for the bird's response. The thought struck him that the apprentice-aged canine outranked him.

She'd cheer towards the pair: becoming an apprentice was a big moment for Matthew, and becoming a mentor was probably a just-as-big moment to Francis, as well.

"Congratulations Matthew! And you too, Francis" Storm barked with a big smile on his face, glad the sha had found a mentor after all this time. He couldn't really imagine how frustrating it was to not have a mentor, seeing he had been asked by Lacelock if he wanted to train under her. He was incredibly grateful she had asked him and was determined to repay her by doing his very, very best. Hopefully that'd be enough. But anyway, now Matthew had a mentor too, so that was good, although he couldn't help but wonder how those trainings would go... Francis wasn't exactly... Well... 'normal'.
