• [fancypost borderwidth=0px]The sky was almost dark, and Tessellessence was sat all alone to observe the sunset as it occurred before him. He didn't really understand the appeal of sunsets before the great firey ball went below the horizon, but the ex-medic really did like the purples and blues with a splash of warmer shades once it had. He wished everything was as peaceful as this.

//rIP i'm so sorry this is a shitpost jfkdshk

  • When Minnowscales noticed her former mentor she smiled and made her way over to him, sitting down beside him and attempting to nudge him with her shoulder. "Hey Tessellence. This sunset is pretty isn't it?" she said with a smile.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Tessellessence hated when people touched him, but, for a friend, he could let it slide. The kitten's gaze shifted to his former apprentice, a spark of interest lighting up his eyes. "Yeah," he responded in a voice with actual life to it as opposed to its usual drone. Tess kicked a rock, trying to think of things to say in small-talk and hoping not to bore Minnow "So what brings you out here?"

  • "I was just wandering, what about you?" Minnowscales asked him, smiling. She wondered what he was doing out of camp and if he was out here because he wanted to be alone or if he was just out here to get some fresh air. Either way, she would probably find out.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]"Trying to get away from all the new faces, I guess," Tess shrugged half-heartedly in response, turning away from the medicine cat now. Perhaps she sort of understood what he was like, right? She was one of the few people he was comfortable with after all. Maybe that meant she knew him better? Though he guessed not. He wasn't the most open of all people.

/sorry about the late response! :c

  • "Yeah, they can get pretty overwhelming I guess. I guess the whole clan can overwhelm you too as well," she meowed. "When do you think you will head back to camp? I think I will go back when you do. I like talking to you."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]The fact that someone liked talking to Tess about more than the weather was quite shocking to the kitten. He was fully aware of the fact that he was a dick and everything, but the fact that someone could stand that? He was sure that everyone hated him. "In a couple of minutes," he spoke, a super tiny quirk to the corners of his mouth "Once it starts getting cooler. The dark kind of freaks me out a little, you know?"
