  • ( no, no, not too late. Though I will warn you that my muse isn't great, and college is already kicking my ass. I'll post when I can get on my computer, as i'm on mobile right now. )

It's alright, take your time! College is a lot more important than a roleplay. I'll work with whatever you give me, and I won't nag you if you take days at a time to respond.

    Good luck with your classes!

[justify]( Thanks so much for understanding!! What makes college work worse is my adhd sometimes gets the better of me, and I just procrastinate, which will probably make for a few days of relatively quick replies, then two days of silence as I get things sorted out (not the most efficient method, but it works...). )

Ji had time to get the route planned for the day, and nip out to get some food (which was rather unremarkable; sandwiches, and some fruits she had slipped into her pockets while at the market (hey, old habits don't die)). This was all before her employer awoke. The Asian girl assumed that she had a shorter flight than him. She was holed up in some backwater town in Arizona when she took the job, which meant it was a much shorter flight.

She hadn't been back ten minutes, however, the flip-phone in the pocket of her cargo pants buzzed. A text. Must be her brother, nobody else had the number.

Destroy the phone... tracking... Brazil mission... Run while you can. Why did everything have to fall apart today? Letting the phone drop to the floor, and stepping on it, Ji nodded slightly contentedly to herself. Though they couldn't stay here long, she didn't know how much her father knew. The forboding message was definitely sent by her brother though, he used the codename - nicknames that the two had when they were younger.

The woman had everything packed in record time, map in hand. If her rustling around hadn't woken James, she'd have to wake him herself. Explaining things could be saved for later, though. The first thing she said when he woke up? "You've had a couple hours sleep, and you can sleep in the car, we gotta go. Got the route down, and food in the bag. So, you know, developing a sense of urgency would be great right about now."

    James|Male|Historian

James slept like a normal person on jet lag: heavy, but never very long. While Ji ran around, he just lay there like a rock. At least he didn't snore, right? Well, he wasn't going to ask her about it. James started when she spoke loudy, arousing him from the cocoon of sleep. He was groggy and hardly rendered what she said, but the message was clear.

They had to get moving before they were found. From the defensive way she had been acting since their meeting, James could tell Ji was expecting someone to be following him. As he finally slid out of bed, quickly adjusting the (still inappropriate for wear in this wretched humid country) suit, he slipped on his shoes and laced them. He stood up, glancing at Ji's bed.

"Where's the briefcase?" he asked. He turned to look at her as he asked and paused, noticing the briefcase - as well as many other items and bags - in her arms. "I see. I assume this means you know where we're going as well?" James stepped towards her, taking one of the backpacks. Brief surprise crossed his face at its weight. It must be the weapons bag. Oh boy.

(Well, don't stress yourself too much! I have ADHD too, actually, so at least I can understand one of your pains.)
