• Plot: The setting is in the modern world with most humans living in ignorance of creatures of the night. However, a few humans hunt them for the safety of society. Vampires and hunters have long fought in secrecy until now. A young female hunter has an idea to capture a vampire and imprison them in hopes to gain information from them. She plans to bring their existence to light in hopes of destroying them. She hates vampires and wants nothing more than to kill every one she sees. Her plan backfires when she develops feelings other than hate for her captive. I will be playing the role of the captured vampire. You will be playing the role of the human female hunter. The vampires in this RP will be similar to the ones in The Vampire Diaries. Meaning they have the same weaknesses and powers. Let me know if you have any questions.

• [ha lmao I accidentally posted on my original account]
Name: Sienna Joisse Newman
Age: 19 yrs.
Gender: cisgender female
Appearance:
Personality: clever/intelligent - daring - fair - ascetic - guile - callous - overachieving
Other: can you please tell me the weaknesses and powers of those in the Vampire Diaries?

• Accepted and sure thing! So these vampires have all the basic strengths such as: immortality, super speed, super strength, heightened senses, and they can heal themselves (sometimes they have to drink more blood in order to do so). They also have enhanced/magnified emotions, mind compulsion (they can influence another's mind and thoughts, and they can erase a person's memories), and lastly they have emotional control (they can "turn off" their humanity or dull their emotions).

Their weaknesses are sunlight, vervain (vampire poison basically, limits their powers), a wooden stake to the heart, werewolf bite, lack of blood for a period of time, and animal blood (weaker then human blood). Sorry if it's a lot. But I wanted to put as much as I could just in case it was important to the plot. If you have any questions let me know. Did you want to start or should I?

Sienna sharpened the end of her wooden stake, the shreddings falling to the ground in a strange grace. If this vampire wouldn't cooperate, she would have to threaten. Yes, a stake would kill him instantly, but if this vampire valued his life at all, he would talk. Sienna inspected the sharp point of the stake, nodding to herself. This was how her father had taught her how to do it. Her father. Sienna leaned back in her chair, remembering when he banned her from the household because he thought that she was siding with the nasty bloodsuckers. She would soon show him that she [i]wasn't on their side, and he would want her to rejoin the family. But what if he didn't? What if exposing the entire vampire community made her father rethink, sure, but still not allow her to join? Sienna shook off the negative thoughts. Showing the entire world that vampires were real was too big of an accomplishment for her father to ignore her.

Sienna stood up, and she took a step forwards, taking the bronze basement doorknob in her hand. She opened the door, the hinges crying out, and she walked down the steps slowly. Every single step she put her foot on creaked from old age; because this house was so old, Sienna had practically gotten it for free. When she had reached the bottom, she stopped in her place. Sienna turned her head a little, holding the stake tightly. Attached to her belt, she also had a UV flashlight, and a canteen full of vervain. Sienna peered over at the cell where the vampire was in, and she took a deep breath, feeling her heart beating slower. "What's your name, where are you from, and how long have you been a vampire?" Sienna barked, her eyes seeking out the vampire in the darkness. To reassure herself that this vampire wouldn't get out, she had also tied him to a chair, despite the fact that he had abilities that she couldn't contain. It felt like a futile attempt to keep him locked up, but Sienna felt that it was the only way she could get him to realize that she meant business and wanted him to talk. [/fancypost]

• (A rope soaked in vervain could help? ;D)

James blinked his eyes open, he was still a little groggy. He looked around, noticing he was in a cell. His arms felt restricted and he looked down. He realized he was tied to a chair- "ouch" -with ropes that were soaked in vervain. Great. he was suddenly thankful that he decided wear his coat today, or else this would be a hundred times less comfortable. Making sure his skin didn't touch the rope, James looked up at the figure before him. "Are you kidding me? You actually locked me up in a cell? How did you get me in here?" he asked the figure in his thick but eloquent British accent. James then noticed the soreness in his neck. "Did you snap my neck?" he asked but he already knew the answer. James wondered how did he allow a vampire hunter to get so close. And then he remembered.

"Ah now I see. I was halfway down the alley and then you appeared asking for directions. And that's when it happened. Clever girl, maybe you're not as stupid as all of the other hunters, with their forceful approach." She was smart about how she did it, she caught him off guard. He didn't expect such a young girl like her to be a vampire hunter.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; padding:0px; width:488px; color:white; font-size:8pt; text-align:justify; margin-top:3px]Sienna smiled grimly at what sounded to be a compliment. "Thank you. You... you don't seem so dumb yourself. I want to guess that this has happened to you before," she muttered, stepping towards the cell. Sienna gripped the stake tighter, walking closer. She had a better view of the vampire, and she was shocked as how good he looked. Most vampires were in god-awful condition, because of lack of effort, but this vampire looked as if he took a shower once in a while. Dark brown hair combed back, body well-muscled and lean... it stunned Sienna. Despite this vampire's good looks, though, she needed to stay focused on the task of figuring out where he came from. There was a good chance that he knew where a large hive would be, and then, Sienna could destroy the hive, or at least expose the hive so that other vampire hunters could go and kill.

Sienna smirked, taking the UV flashlight from where it hung on her leather belt. "Now, I don't want to ask you again, but I will one more time. What's your name, where are you from, and how long have you been a vampire?" she asked, her voice loud and clear. Sienna turned on the UV flashlight, keeping it pointed at the ground. She leaned against the bars, swinging the flashlight around. "I wouldn't want to kill you, because what a shame. I mean, you're not bad looking, so what a waste of a perfectly good face. But, if you don't cooperate, that'll force me to use other procedures to get you to talk," Sienna continued, pointing the flashlight at the vampire's feet teasingly. Her father was right all those years ago; if you had the advantage over a vampire, take it. [/fancypost]

• James shrugged, "Maybe once or twice during the years of my existence. They weren't very smart and they didn't live very long." It almost sounded like a threat. Almost. James watched her as she moved loser. His eyes glanced at the wooden stake but eventually they settled back on her. He listened to her questions, not taking his blue eyes off of her once. James then noticed her holding something else. After listening to her threats, he smiled. "Never seen one of those UV flashlights before, only heard of them." James then fiddled with the ring on his finger, twisting it a bit, which seemed out of boredom. James wasn't afraid, he was just waiting for his moment to get out. He paused for a moment after she spoke her threats, and chuckled. "You know, I thought you were checking me out before, but now I know for sure that were," he said with a smirk.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; padding:0px; width:488px; color:white; font-size:8pt; text-align:justify; margin-top:3px]Sienna almost choked on her own spit. [i]Her?
Checking out a vampire? Never in her life. She couldn't help but admit that the vampire was pretty attractive, which made her face grow warm. "I-I..." Sienna started, before she realized how useless it would be to argue against his claim. When she studied the vampire a little more, she was surprised to see that he didn't look scared, but bored. He played with the ring on his finger, and Sienna sighed. If this vampire wasn't going to talk about his name, age, and occupation willingly, she would ease it out of him slowly by conversation. Sienna nodded to the ring. "What's the story behind that? Family? A lover?" she queried, her eyes meeting his electric blue gaze. This vampire's eyes weren't like any other eyes she had ever seen.[/fancypost]

• James laughed, kinda like he knew something she didn't. "Someone special gave it to me, and I never go anywhere without it," he told her. The girl didn't seem that bad, he's met were vampire hunters. But she was so young. He wondered why she was doing this, holding him captive. Of course it was to get information, but why? Why would a girl like her want information about vampires to the point she would all of this? It doesn't matter, James told himself. He had to get out of there.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; padding:0px; width:488px; color:white; font-size:8pt; text-align:justify; margin-top:3px]Sienna grunted. Odd, that he wouldn't tell her the whole story, and it made her fidget because she didn't know if the information he was holding back from her could help her destroy the vampires. This vamp was smart, though. Not cautious, but smart. Sienna gripped one of the cold bars of the cage, and she arched an eyebrow. "So. Are you going to tell me your name or not? I don't plan on calling you "vampie" for the next few minutes we'll know each other. It won't be long, though, because if I don't get any information, you'll end up like the previous vampires that were here," Sienna commented, nodding to the wall, where she had engraved all of the names of the vampires that she had killed in here. About twenty-five to thirty names were etched into the concrete walls, but Sienna wasn't excited about putting this vampire's name into the wall. He was cute, she had to admit, and she could feel herself slowly but surely developing feelings for the beast.

The same thing had happened to her mother; Sienna's mother had fallen for a female vampire, leaving Sienna's father. Her mother was bitten by her lover, and the two ran away from each other. That whole situation was the reason her father had gotten her into the vampire-killing business. Sienna could feel herself dreading every moment she was with this vampire, because she didn't want to end up a vampire like her mother should things be taken any further. Sienna thought for a moment, though. Being a vampire [i]would be a little fun, but killing the vampires was even more of a thrill. Watching the light die from their eyes and the breath be taken from their mouths... it was something Sienna absolutely knew that she could never give up. Killing vampires was a habit, a hobby. Sienna wouldn't let this vampire change her mind about that at all.[/fancypost]
trek

• James glanced at the wall. He was a little surprised by the amount of engaved names. All of the names she's killed. James did doubt her and her willingness to kill at first but maybe not anymore. He smiled at her a little, "My name is James. James Harrington if that satisfies you, if you think you're going to put my name on that wall as well. But I can tell you now darling that you won't kill me, not with that thing at least." He nodded to the UV flashlight. He wasn't afraid of the device that she was holding. He was actually confident that it wouldn't hurt him, but he was curious by it. The vampire hunters were getting smarter with their modern technology which will cause them to be more efficient. This didn't scare James, but he feared for the other vampires who don't stand a chance.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; padding:0px; width:488px; color:white; font-size:8pt; text-align:justify; margin-top:3px]Sienna rolled her hazel eyes. "This UV flashlight will only burn you, not kill you. The stake, on the other hand, might do more damage," she started, before something moved outside of the small window above the wall full of names. Sienna turned to look, and she watched as several people moved through her backyard, their figures darker than the night sky outside. Sienna hesitated, gripping her stake tighter. Should she leave the vampire, [i]James
, he might get out. Sienna turned back to James. She only had two ideas about who would be at her house; more vampire hunters, or vampires possibly worse than James. Vampire hunters were more likely to approach her front door, while vampires themselves had a tendency to try to be stealthy. Sienna walked over to the bottom of the stairs, listening to the people out back trying to get in quietly. These definitely weren't vampire hunters. She had never heard of vampire hunters acting like this. Sienna glanced back over at James, and she put her flashlight in her back pocket. She took out the key for the cage from her front pocket, and she held it in her fingers gingerly. "Alright, James. This is something that will happen once in a lifetime. If you help me escape the vampires out back, I'll let you go. But only if we escape and I get away alive. Deal?" Sienna asked, feeling a pit form in her stomach. As much as she hated doing this, she wanted so desperately to stay alive.[/fancypost]
trek

• James tilted his head slightly as he looked at her. The smart thing to do would be to let her die. But would he let that happen? Would he just sit there and do nothing? And other vampire in his position would. "And what if I do nothing and just let you die? Surely the vampires would let me out once you're dead and I would be free. That is, if it is vampires." James didn't know of any vampires that would come save him. It hasn't been long enough for his friends to think he was missing. It was more likely that it was vampire hunters. James stared at her for a moment, knowing that this deal was hard for her to make. But she wanted to survive, and he couldn't blame her for that. James looked at the ground, was he really going to do this? She captured and threatened to torture and kill him, and now she was asking for his help when there was a chance that he didn't even need it. His blue eyes rose to meet hers. But did he really want to see this girl die? James took a breath, "Alright. I'll help you." James could hear the distant footsteps grow closer. They were inside.

(This might sound weird but I think he should remained locked up for a little while longer. So that they can perhaps get to know each other and stuff. So maybe it should be vampire hunters? Or maybe her father?)

Sienna closed her eyes, as the footsteps got closer. "Thank you. Now, I-" she started, reaching for the key to the cage, when a familiar voice called out to her. "Sienna?" her father called, and she froze in place, opening her eyes once more. She hadn't seen the man in years. Sienna pulled her hand out of her pocket, and she peered up at the door. At the top of the stairs, stood her father's shadowed figure. A huge wave of bittersweet memories hit Sienna, and her father started to make his way downstairs. All of the laughter, smiles, and tears this man had caused her came rushing back, and Sienna felt mentally overwhelmed. As her father came down the stairs, his gaze met hers. "Sienna. It's been a while," he said, and Sienna choked back the emotions. "Ace," she responded. Personally, Sienna hated calling her dad "Dad", because for so many years, he hadn't been a father. Rather, a mentor or teacher to her. She mostly called him Mr. or Ace. "Sienna, please call me dad. Braxton refuses to call me Dad, and so does Clark and Ky. I mean, you're my baby girl," her father pleaded, but Sienna was simply stunned. This was unusual behavior of her father. He [i]never called Sienna his "baby girl".

Ace peered over at James, and his eyes widened. "Sienna, dear, are you still hunting vampires? You know how dangerous it is," Sienna's father commented, but Sienna simply scoffed. "Ace, this is ridiculous. I've never heard you talk like this. Dear? Baby girl? Where the hell did you come from? And since when were you ever concerned with me and vampires? You taught me everything I know," Sienna cried, feeling the urge to slap Ace, who was completely emotionless. "A lot has changed at home. I remarried, I have another daughter. But now, though, I'm just trying to fix the mess I created. I should've never gotten anyone involved with my vampire business," Ace answered, making his way over to James's cage to release him. As Ace reached for the bars, Sienna pulled the stake back, and she swung it at her father's head. It hit him square in the back of the head, and Ace collapsed to the basement floor, unconscious. Sienna sighed, nodding to him, and she looked up at James. "Sorry. Family drama. It drives me nuts. You got any back home?" she asked, picking up a wooden chair from the corner. Sienna brought it over, so that she was sitting in front of James, with some ropes soaked in vervain and iron bars separating them.[/fancypost]
trek

• When James realized it was vampire hunters and not vampires his muscles relaxed. Hiess I'll be staying in here a little longer. He listened to the two talked, the air was almost uncomfortable between them. Anyone could tell. And then just when the man named Ace was ready to let James out of the cage, he watched Sienna clock him with the wooden stake. He stared at Ace and Sienna in disbelief with his mouth open for a long moment. Didn't see that one coming. "No, I understand," he said to her casually. "And my family is all dead." He watched her as she sat down in front of him.

Sienna pitied James when she heard that his family was all dead. She couldn't imagine her brothers- and somehow, new sister- all dying and leaving her alone. Sienna hesitated, before she began talking. She didn't want to bring back anything negative with James, especially if he had forgotten about it. "T-tell me a little more about your family. I want to know who they were," Sienna started, glancing down at Ace every once in a while to make sure he wouldn't awaken. She could feel his hand twitch on occasion, making her reach for her stake, but it was nothing big. Ace didn't really wake up. After all, he [i]was the person that had taught her how to knock someone out with an inanimate object. Sienna hoped that she hadn't given him a concussion, but all in all, she didn't give a crap if he had one or not. She'd just ship him to the hospital- like he had done with her many times- and leave him there. Sienna glanced back up at James, still a little awestruck by his looks. It had been a while since Sienna had seen a vampire care for his looks, and when James cared for his appearance, he looked good. [/fancypost]
