This is set during the first year of the majority of the Campers, whenever it may be. Let's just say, in theory, that their first year was spent together. The three Captains of Olympian Hill have gathered whatever demigods they could, and are bringing the freshmen to what will soon be their new camp. The Satires and Nymphs and Druids are still working on the buildings, so the Campers must stay in separate tents over the course of two weeks, trying to live off the land and making occasional trips to the town— which is too far away to be part of the daily routine. It's the best time to establish friendships and connections, with most of the Campers only knowing the Captains who've gathered them in the first place and not much else.
LOCATION A small clearing in the middle of the forest, just beyond the hanging bridge. Multiple tents have been set up, and there are several bonfires to keep them warm throughout the night. There are hardly any buildings yet, but the Campers can go to the beach if they need to swim, or to the town if they're willing to walk several miles. They can't stay away from Camp for too long, because now that they're aware of their lineage, they attract monsters much easier.
ATMOSPHERE It's bleak and desolate. Many of the Campers have only begun to experience what life is like being a demigod. Some of them have lost family members, friends, when the monsters attacked them out of the blue— most of them had to leave everything behind to keep their loved ones safe from harm. Some are still suspicious and speculative, trying to digest the truth and having a much harder time accepting fantasy as their reality. There are those who have accepted the truth quite easily. There are those who still believe the entire thing to be a dream. There are those who are eager to help, and those who start seething at the sight of the Captains. There are those who are still grieving over their old lives, or the loss of a loved one.[/fancypost][/fancypost]
