Howdy! I'll start with these two, though I might add more later.

Name: Flower
Species: Deerling
Gender: Female
Moveset: Jumpkick, Energy Ball, Sand Attack, Facade
Physical description: Flower is pretty much your average Deerling, but with curious, violet eyes. Her hooves are the same color. She also wears a short, grey scarf.
Personality: She sometimes lets her curiosity get the better of her and can be a bit of an airhead at times. Despite this, she's actually quite bright and loves to be around other Pokemon. She loves to run and will carry Pokemon smaller (and sometimes attempt larger) than herself back and forth.

Other: She's about level 27. Ability is Chlorophyll.

Species: Golduck
Gender: Male
Moveset: Psyshock, Aqua Tail, Hydro Pump, Scald
Physical description: Normal Golduck with a scar near his left eye.
Personality: He can be a bit of a jerk at times, but he means well. He's a little overprotective of his friends.
Held item: He wears a Mystic Water around his neck.
Other: Ability is Swift Swim. He's level 57.

She has a scratch that is raked across her flank, the tip of her foot's toes are white, she is also missing some floatzel features such as a spot on her forehead and colored eyelids. She also carries a bag full of oran berries and a water stone.

Lluvia is kind to Pokemon that doesn't show negativity to her, making her a really gullible pokemon, also really easy to gain her trust but, she knows when she is being bribed or being manipulated for things. She also wants to show she is strong, she doesn't want to be the "weak" one.

OOC: Alright. Before we start, is there anything we need to know real fast? Like where this takes place (forest, desert, grasslands...), how the Pokemon in the area typically act, or anything like that? Or does whatever work?

OOC: Okay, then. I guess I go ahead and begin.

IC: Flower laughed gleefully as she raced through an open field with all of her insane speed. She loved rushing through this meadow, and she knew it like the back of her hoof. She'd often make herself run from the thicket of trees to the south, over the grass and the flowers and the big river in splat in the middle of the meadow and on to the small village of Pokemon to the north. She aimed to make it all the way one day without stopping, but the young Deerling hadn't quite gotten that far yet. Usually she had to stop at the river and take a break before she could pick up back where she had stopped. This particular dash she had started a mere minute ago, though, so she still had plenty of energy within her as she bounded towards the river.

Torrent watched the tiny bundle of joy as she raced towards him. This was a pretty regular occurrence, and he'd long grown used to the Deerling's routine. Since he spent a lot of his time in the river, he'd actually gotten several opportunities to converse with Flower and had actually come to enjoy the crazy furball's company, despite his tough exterior. The Golduck closed his eyes and floated on his back, relaxing as he waited to hear the clatter of hoofsteps announcing her arrival.

A few more minutes later, Flower spotted a few new Pokemon she didn't recognize beside the river. The prospect of meeting new Pokemon had excitement welling up inside her, and she pushed herself to move even faster. Soon, she skidded to a halt a few feet from them, gasping for air, though her eyes were sparkling. Since she was still trying to catch her breath, she flicked her tiny tail in greeting.

Torrent watched as the Deerling came to a stop beside the newcomers. He was almost amused with Flower's antics and considered swimming over to join them, but something about the strangers -especially the Mightyena - bothered him. He'd been told that he needed to be a little more welcoming to those around him, but he found that really hard to do. They hadn't done anything to earn his trust yet, so he wasn't going to give it to them. He swam a little closer, ready to intervene if Flower needed help.

Flower took a few seconds to catch her breath before finally speaking. "Hi!" She said. "I haven't... seen you two around these parts! Are you new here? What are your names? Mine's Flower!"

Torrent watched the Mightyena warily.

"Oh, those are wonderful names!" Flower exclaimed. "It's so nice to meet you!" Her ears twitched at the sound of Voltaire's growl, and she peered past the Spinda to look at him. She followed his gaze and spotted Torrent a short distance away. "Oh, hi, Torrent!"

He grunted in response, still glaring daggers at the Mightyena.

The Deerling frowned. "Are you two angry with each other?"

Torrent took note of how immediately the Mightyena had complied with Sparky's order, honestly quite surprised at how obedient he was to the Spot Panda Pokemon.

"Hey, Torrent," Flower called, relieved that everyone had seemed to calm down, "Why don't you come over here and join us? They're really nice!"

"How would you know that?" The Golduck rolled his eyes. "You just met them." Nevertheless, he decided to oblige with the Deerling's request and joined them on the riverbank. He still didn't trust either one of the strangers, but perhaps it would be better to be near Flower if they tried anything. He looked the two over, watching for any signs of a threat.

"C'mon, introduce yourself!" Flower urged.

"Name's Torrent," he said blandly.
