• [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid #000000; width: 440px;]This was one of the happiest times of the day for Cake. Night time was the absolute best to her. This was mostly because no one else was around to bug the hell out of her. She loved getting praise and attention (nothing she ever recieved, mind you, due to her bratty nature), but 99% of the time she was absolutely disgusted and annoyed with everyone else. It's like they never stopped. Why couldin't the world just stop for her? She was, after all, the only important person in the clan in her eyes. Cake seized the opportunity to sneak out of camp and indulge in her favorite past time next to eating sweets and being adored. It was looking in her own reflection, of course! She was sitting by the river Megaera nearly downed in recently staring at the rippling mirrored image of her face like the narcissistic *y "princess" she was.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 350px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px;]Stevie's never been the kind to root for attention. She garners it without even realizing it, her preference for fighting over diplomacy and "talking it out" building up a reputation that's not unprecedented, but not exactly wanted either. She's just fighting for what she believes is right, and she's damn well going to challenge the whole goddamn world to do just that. So she wakes up with a battle in her eyes and goes to sleep with disheveled fur and scratches littering her body like graffiti. Vanity is completely ignored. All she does is fight, and most of the time, she loses.

Cake Frosting isn't a fighter, that much Stevie can tell. That girl expects everything served up on a platter with give me attention for dessert and a healthy helping of pay attention to me on the side. Stevie wants to fight her, but most likely she'll just run away to fix her fur. That doesn't mean she can't verbally fight, however, and though Stevie prefers to trade physical blows, this'll have to do for now.

"What'cha see there? A fish?" she says casually, skipping over.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid #000000; width: 440px;]Cake was easy pickings when it came to fighting. If someone wanted to seriously fight and mess her up (even if she wanted to), she'd have no chance of coming out alright. After all, the petite feline was not trained in combat. No one bothered to teach her yet. Sadly, the future indeed had just that in store for her. So for now she focused on the only thing she could perfect, her looks. And feeding her much too big ego. Lost in her own little world, Stevie's arrival caught her off guard, the feline jumping quite a distance at the sound of her voice. "Excuse you!" She snapped rudely, lashing her tail in the air defensively. "Are you trying to make me fall in?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 350px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px;]"Ain't like I give a shit," Stevie says, entirely at ease like she has all the time in the world. She gives Cake a once-over, peering at her through half-lidded eyes and a head angled upward. Her posture is defiant and cocky, a little shit who knows damn well she can win this one. "Would be funny, though," she mentions, all casual and comfortable like she's actually, genuinely considering pushing Cake in. She won't, of course. That's not what she does. Unless Cake tries to attack her, she'll withhold any physical contact. There may be wondering, isn't she acting exactly like who she hates? Definitely not— to Stevie, anyone who's an asshole in public is free game, and Cake has definitely been an asshole in public. This flimsy justification is enough for her to be satisfied by.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid #000000; width: 440px;]Great. Just her luck someone decided to come over and disturb her peace. She felt like Stevie had no reason at all to be so bitter towards her. In fact, she felt like she should be thanking her for letting her come over to "her" spot without permission. For helping her with Megaera earlier too. Hell, she didint have to do that back there in her eyes. But she did. "Ugh!" she cried out in disgust and anger. "You better not push me in! I spent all day fixing my coat!". Cake did hate the water. For several reasons. Including the fact she couldn't swim and was afraid of drowning. Something she would never admit to anyone else. "What's you're problem anyways? I came over here first! And I so totally didint do anything to you anyways. Psshh, you so wish."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial; color: #000000]Stevie's reasons for helping Magaera were entirely due to her ever-ready hero complex. Cake wasn't helping her save Megaera— she was saving Megaera all by her damn self; she was just lucky to get a cooperative Cake Frosting for once. Afterward, they'll be back to rivals. That's how it is, and that's how it goes. Stevie can't see herself ever befriending someone like Cake. She has morals, and they involve never associating herself positively with a known asshole.

"Your coat can stand to be humbled," she mutters under her breath. In a more audible voice, she says, "Jesus, I wasn't even bein' confrontational, buddy. Y'all started that by yourself." Honestly, she doesn't even know why she's trying to reason with someone like Cake. "I so wish?" she repeats, incredulous. "I wish you'd tone the fuck down, is what I wish. Ain't like the world's spinnin' just for you." God, she's just about ready to call it quits with this girl. All she did was ask what she was looking at, and now it's escalated into this.
