• ((sweet I can make him into a combo of Kylo Ren and Elsa))

Randall watched her go for a moment before shifting as well, paws hitting the ground rhythmically. He should go back to Freddy, but he kind of wanted to run around the woods like an idiot for a little while. He raced the river through the territory, and felt the wind in his fur and the leaves under his paws. He used to run like this when he was upset, dashing away from the house, and running felt like freedom. Now, it was more fleeting. He stopped in a small clearing, sitting down to catch his breath.

  • Sorry I've been really busy and have had such low muse for this lately!)

Elly was concentrated on her blackrasberry ice cream as it rapidly melted in her hands she realized how silly she probably looked with a dot of purple ice cream on her nose with her tongue out licking at the small cone. "I should have grabbed more napkins" she thought making a rather silly yet cute face as she struggled with the mess her ice cream was making,

"Hey Ran, I don't think ice cream on a 90 degree was a good idea, but it's good anyway!"

She said looking over at him still unaware of the ice cream on her nose. The day was nice not a cloud in the sky people were friendly nothing seemed wrong that day but she did still find it weird that this alpha wanted to hang out with her today or any day to be correct. But he seemed different than the other ones.

  • Randall glared at his icecream like it was a deer he was trying to catch, and took some quick licks. Strangely enough, it didn't seem to be melting at all, staying as cold as it came. He was wearing shorts for once in his life, despite his dislike of them. The summer had dotted his shoulders with more freckles than he would like, but he just sort of accepted it at this point.

He smiled as he looked up at her, face turning slightly pink. "Well, at least it helps cool down. It's really f*cking hot, huh." It wasn't a question. He chuckled as he took his own napkin, reaching out with it, and then paused, awkwardly, not quite used to casual touch. "Uh, you have a bit of ice cream on your nose, if you want this..."

  • Elinor crossed her eyes to get a look at the purple dot on her nose,

"Hmm? Oh hehe! Thank you I guess I look pretty silly than huh?"

Elinor accepted the napkin with a quick thanks and rubbed the mess off her nose as thy kept walking along. She kept the napkin only assuming he didn't want it back since she used it but there are people out there like that. Elly was wearing a light blue dress with spaghetti straps and a ruffled top, it only came down just past her knees which was fine since she liked the dress and it matched her white flip-flops that she had been dying to wear. The reasons she was wearing a dress was not only because she was with an alpha it was her day off and she didn't have anything clean to where that wouldn't leave her baking like a potato, but it was nice not having to wear work worn pass me downs for once. Elly's hair was also pulled back into a sloppy bun that somehow looked nice and neat even though it only took two minutes to do at home, turning to Randal again she smiled at him,

"So Mr. Alpha besides ice cream, avoiding our packs, and walking through own what else did you have in mind to do or do you just enjoy watching me struggle with my ice cream cone?"

  • Oh, wow. That was cute. Like, very cute. She was cute. Her dress was cute. Okay, Randall, stop being ridiculous and dumb about these things. He kept trying to justify this thing as "not a date", but it really wasn't working in his head right now.

Randall winced slightly at her calling him "Mr. Alpha" because that wasn't what he wanted to be. Oh well, he guessed he didn't mind that much. He smiled back at her when she smiled, however, almost automatically. Man, after meeting her he figured out that his resting face looked pretty angry, and started to work to make himself look less grumpy and intimidating.

"I was thinking we could go see a movie or something, since there's air conditioning in the theater." He shrugged lightly, trying to seem more nonchalant than he felt.

  • Elly had returned to her ice cream when he mentioned going to see a movie she smiled widely,

"A movie? Ive never seen a movie, well I have but not in the theater! Come on I wanna get into the air conditioning before I melt."

She laughed softly as she tossed what remained of her ice cream in a near by trash can as well as the napkin before taking Randal's hand leading him to the theater. True to what she had said she's never been to the theater to see a movie her packs never really had extra money to be able to spend on things like that, so this was something new she was very excited about.

  • Randall was paying a little too much attention to Elinor's hand taking his. Was touch a more casual thing in the Omega pack? Were they less conservative about gestures of affection like this? Whatever the reason, it was disconcerting. He let himself be led easily towards the theater, only thinking as they got closer to ask her what, exactly, they should see.
"What do you want to see?" he asked, hesitantly, like he was afraid something might ruin this moment.

  • She stopped walking just outside the theater with a look of confusion, she hadn't even thought about what movie they could see.

    "Um.. I don't know, I don't even know what's out right now."

She said letting go of his hand as she shrugged her shoulder at him before turning back around to walk inside,,

"I don't really care what we see so I'll let you pick the movie. But let's get into the air conditioning first right?"

Ellyn smiled at him as she held the door open so they could both walk in.

  • Randall followed her, breathing a sigh of relief as the stepped into the cool of the air-condition. He assessed the list of movies that would soon play, considering, and eventually decided on the one that would be playing the soonest. "How about Finding Dory?" he suggested, almost joking. Almost. He kinda wanted to see it but it was a fish movie. A movie about sad fish. He'd probably cry at the end anyway. Maybe this was a bad idea.

  • Ellyn smiled as she looked around almost amazed at out people got to enjoy something this practically on a monthly even weekly basis,

"Hmm? Oh Finding Dory? It sounds cute what's it about? I really haven't heard of any of these movies before so, I can only assume that they are all good so if you want to see that one I'm good."

She smiled at him before going to to looking around before noticing that there was a distinct smell of...popcorn!? She was immediately excited she hadn't had popcorn in a long time it was her favorite snack. But she had a question why was this place selling snacks wasn't it just for watching movies that haven't come out in stores.

  • Randall shrugged, face flushing. "It's this silly fish movie. It's the sequel to Finding Nemo-- you've probably heard of that?" Now he felt kind of embarrassed for suggesting it. He honestly really wanted to see it though. He couldn't exactly say that out loud, though-- why? Because his false pretense of having some sort of emotional defense would be completely smashed? This was stupid, actually. Why not see the fish movie?

  • Elinor tapped a finger on her chin as she tried to remember if she's ever heard of Finding Nemo, it sounds familiar at least.. she thought to herself as her eyes looked over the small blue sign saying finding dory.

"Well of its a silly fish movie it sounds perfect to me!"

She grinned at him before taking his hand leading him to the ticket window so they could get tickets,

"Well let's go the sign says it starts in ten minutes so, let's go get seats unless you decided on a different movie?"

  • She took his hand again, which made his face flush again, and he shrugged, and nodded. "Sounds good." He took out his money, making sure he didn't recognize the ticket vendor, and went up to the window. "Uh, two tickets to Finding Dory," he said, passing over the money.

Once the tickets were paid for, he led Elinor to the theater, where ads for other movies were playing. He chose some seats not too close or too far from the screen, and thankfully not behind someone who was super tall.

  • Elinor sat beside Randal as the movie started she was excited to see this movie even if it was just a silly kids movie. The movie had barely begun when Elinor started shedding a few tears happy or sad it was hard to tell, but she still cried.

It was half way through the movie when her arms instinctively latched onto Randal's arm by this point she had tears streaming down her face, she had always been known to be over emotional no matter what kind of movie she saw. Though she hasn't seen a lot of movies. By the time it was the end of the movie she had fallen in love with it especially the little blue baby fish, Dory. Elly would be comparing everything cute and squishy to baby Dory for the next month, but she had managed to stop crying by the time the movie came to and end though she didn't let go of Randal's arm not yet at least.
