    Melissa thought over it as she took her bag from him with a smile "I can handle this...Um just..further south..south west?"She said not knowing yet as she walked downstairs and paid for their room.

    "Let's head south for now, seems like a safe change in direction," he said before walking outside towards the car. "Seems clear for now, looks like we're all good."

    "Your forgetting that I can sense them...Of course its clear now"Melissa playfully punched his arm which she noticed some scratches from herself on him and she instantly looked away and got in the car.

    What's wrong, why you just tell me, he thought to himself getting into the car. Soon enough they were on the road, it had been about thirty minutes of silence between the two of them. "Okay somethings bothering you what's up?"

    "Is that what's been bugging you, look I'm fine, I'm still alive." He shifted his gaze over towards her for a split second before looking back at the road. "I know you wouldn't try to harm me."

    Logan looked ahead at the road, "I know you wouldn't do that though." he said quite confident in his words. "I don't know what makes me say that but I just have a feeling deep down."

    Melissa didn't want to get attatched but she was. She liked him and she blushed a little before sighing "Look...last night..was. Was just lust ok? Like I was drunk and I haven't done anything like that in years and you were just there...Don't get me wrong it was nice..But I can't commit to a relationship...not when Hunters are on my arse"

    "I'm sure saying that, I just know that deep down your still a good person," he said although he had a feeling he let his emotions show. "We're stuck in this together, we've just got to protect each other."

    Melissa ran a hand through her hiar "I didn't want to bring you into this...What if you get killed? Your human..Im sorry but its really important that you understand the risks of being even...."She cut herself off and closed her mouth with a sigh.

    Melissa remained silent for minutes before speaking "Risks of liking...Loving. Vampires...bond with people by blood transferal. You have to drink a few drops of my blood and I yours...its a wedding thing...I could lose control...And then once we are bonded...And you die...I grow weaker until im nothing"She explained

    "That's some pretty heavy sh*t," he said, running a hand through his hair. It was matted down since it air dried. "Is that what you've been worried about?," he asked.

    "Well what's life without a few bumps in the road," he said glancing over at her before letting out a sigh. "Look I know what happened last night I just..... I just need to know if those feelings between us were genuine."

    Logan smiled slightly, "That's all I needed to know." He said. He placed a hand on top of hers keeping a hand on the wheel. "I know it will be difficult but I know we can get through this."

    Logan laughed with her taking her hand in his. "I might just be human but that doesn't mean I'm weak. I promise we'll get through this," he said before turning off the main highway and onto a single lane road.
