    Ivypaw pouted. "Isn't that what hunting patrols are for were on a border patrol." The apprentice mewed. "Do I have to hunt because your too scared too?" The she cat questioned the tom amusement and teasing in her tone. "Watch me and take notes." The she cat snickered and flicked her tail. Walking along the path Ivypaw got the sent of prey. Hearing rustling she stopped and looked around her eyes darting around the forest. Ivypaw always had a talent of hunting. Hearing more movement the she cat picked up her pace. Ivypaw always had a special talent of speed it was an unusual trait she had. Always hunting as a kit since her clan didn't follow the rules she catched on more quickly. The she cat started to pick up the pace as she heard the squirrel running fast. Into a gallop the she cat traced after the squirrel, running she looked around keeping focused on the animal. As she saw the squirrel run at full speed the she cat ran at her full speed. She was so fast at her full speed the she cat was just a glimpse and a shadow. She was faster then the adverage speed of a cat she had a unusual speed. Watching the animal scamper up the tree she ran paws thumping against the ground. She ran and clamped her claws into the bark of the tree and pushed herself up. Feeling astonished the she cat realized she was chasing two squirrels! Swinging her head she grasped one of the squirrels tails in her jaw and swung her head powerfully to the other side parting her jaw so the other tail slipped into her mouth. Claws with scratching her face rapidly and furiously. Landing with a thud the squirrels dangled from her jaws. Letting them down she loosened their grip. Before they could run she stomped onto the squirrels tail and clamped their necks. Her face stung bad from the cuts and scrapes the claws left. Trotting over to her mentor she lifted her head in pride. "Take notes??" She asked the tom the pretty she cats eyes glimmering.

She left her lazy brother to sleep, and set her paws for the entrance. What am I doing? I've never been this adventurous. With a small sigh, Swiftkit decided to just roll with it. She supposed loneliness might have something to do with it. The lone remaining elder had died recently, and the other two kits in the nursery were a bit too rambunctious. A tree seemingly came out of nowhere, jolting her to reality as well as the ground.

    SMOKESHADE - With a tendency to plod out of camp without realizing, it was no surprise for cats to see the scarred warrior making her way out of camp without much reason. She was in the mood, though, for hunting, or for the mere feeling of feeling the life drain away from the animal beneath her paws.
    With her head low to the ground and her paws weary from a good days work, Smokeshade took in a different smell: a scent she didn't want to take in.
    There was somebody different in their territory, and she didn't like it.
    Alas, she came across a different tom playing around in the midst of OakClan's territory. Her first instinct was to leap out and slash at his throat, punishing him for ever crossing their border line, but second-nature kicked in. The element of surprise always worked.
    Wriggling her behind, she crouched low to the ground and watched him with narrowed eyes. It seemed as if Smokeshade was older than the intruder, and was obviously more scary-looking. With a light hiss, she leapt out at the masculine, attempting to pin him to the ground.
    Baring her sharp, yellow teeth, she yowled, "Why have you crossed OakClan's territory?"

    With a tendency to plod out of camp without realizing, it was no surprise for cats to see the scarred warrior making her way out of camp without much reason. She was in the mood, though, for hunting, or for the mere feeling of feeling the life drain away from the animal beneath her paws. It sounded creepy, but that's just how she was, and being alone was her favorite thing about an uneventful, normal day.
    With her hackles swaying nearly rhythmically to the nature around her, she stopped with one slender paw risen in the air. Her ears flicked backwards for a few moments, and she focused her golden-yellow optics on the scenery before her. A leaf twitched and a branch shuddered, the tiny vibrations below her paws indicating the moving presence of prey.
    Crouching low, she spotted a glinting black eye between the gaps of a few leaves. Shock pulsed through her veins as she realized that this was a falcon, which had probably landed from one of the oak trees, looking for its own prey by the lake. This would most likely be a hard one to take down, for its wings were large and it was smarter than most other birds.
    Taking a deep breath, she leapt forward, feeling confident she would catch this one. The moment it heard her rushing out of the bushes, it took off with a startled squawk, beating its wings furiously against the muscular warrior. But Smokeshade already had her teeth deep into the animal's shoulder, filling her mouth with a familiar tang of blood. She knew it probably stained her muzzle a dark crimson color now, contrasting with the brownish-gray color on her muzzle. The she-cat released the wounded falcon from her jaws only to lunge forward for it's throat, pressing her weight down on the bird's back with one paw. The faster she got this down, the faster she could go back and possibly join a border patrol.
    Panting heavily, she chose to ignore the snap that rang around the forest from breaking the bird's bones. That sound didn't make her wince... not anymore, it didn't. Sweeping some dirt over it, she decided to come back for it later. That would feed some of her Clanmates later, too.
    Making her way forward, she forced herself through the bushes and trees, coming across the border that seperated them from the Twolegplace. With her piercing gaze raking the area before her, she caught sight of a small kittypet sniffing around, close to the borders. She crouched once more, her claws sheathed. She wouldn't pick a fight with a harmless house cat, but it wouldn't hurt to watch him, either.
