    Ooc: the main thing is is that Falconwing will becoming a medicine cat and Featherpaw will be getting her full name. not sure about everything else.


    Foxpaw jumped up heading for a thick branch. When he heard his mentor call up, "no the thin one." Foxpaw looked at her like she was crazy but didn't protest. He hesitantly reached for the thin branch and tried lightly to Lowe his body down on it. It didn't break but he though he heard it creak. He watched as she brought piles of branches under him. Was she crazy?! Fear starters to engulf the young tom.


    Snowspirit lifted her head at the sound of Falconwing's voice. She was surprised at his question but felt a feeling of happiness. "Sure. But quietly." She whispered as she glanced down at her sleeping kits. They had had a Long day today and needed there rest. She would talk to them in the morning.

    Once Flamestep had created a sufficient pile of sticks, she looked up at her apprentice bobbing up and down on the thin branch. "It will hold you, don't worry. The thin branch has yet to grow bark, therefore an enemy will not be able to hear you when your claws sink into the wood. Now, this pile of sticks-" She flicked her tail towards the pile, "-is your enemy. Your first attack will be the Aboveground Kick. You will fall directly on your opponent and time a kick with your hind legs to knock them down. Then, you will use the momentum from falling to quickly leap away so that your enemy cannot attack. Got it?" She knew this attack was much more advanced then ground offensive moves, but he had to learn it sooner or later.


    Falconwing grinned at her response and remained still for a moment, listening for the soft breathing of the kits. Once he was able to pinpoint where each was sleeping, he eased himself into the den, carefully setting his paws down on the mossy ground. Once fully inside, he gently laid himself down near Snowspirit, resting his head on his forepaws. "Thank you," He murmured with a smile before closing his eyes to go to sleep.

    Snowspirit moved slightly closer to him to where their pelts were touching though careful not to disturb her sleeping kits. She did like the Tim and she knew it now. She hoped he liked her too though she couldn't quite tell. He has saved her kits today and that meant the world to her. "Thank you." She meowed again before resting her own head on her paws and closing her eyes. (This image I'm getting is so cute!)


    Foxpaw tried to rid himself of the fear. This wasn't so bad; he could do it. If he was lucky, the branches wouldn't attack back. Foxpaw stayed still for a moment before sheathing his paws and leaping off the branch. He kept his eyes on the pile and tried to land a kick but missed completely and fell straight onto the pile. "Oww!" He yowled.

    IC: As he drifted into a deep slumber, Falconwing felt the warmth of a soft pelt cuddle up next to him. Snowspirit's comforting scent washed over him, and he found himself placing his head over her back as he felt asleep. A smile remained on his muzzle as he wrapped his tail securely around himself.


    Flamestep hissed in frustration at first, for she was a very short-tempered she-cat. However, even she couldn't keep out the worry of a clanmate in trouble. Trotting briskly towards the tom, she mewed quickly, "Are you alright? Can you stand?" Taking him gently by the scruff, she tried to heave Foxpaw out of the pile of prickly sticks.

    Ooc: I don't mind.


    Snowspirit: -sleeping- (so cute!)


    Foxpaw groaned as he stood up, now clear of the branch pile. "Yeah, I can stand." He searched his body for where the pain was coming from and saw a not too deep scratch on his side but the main pain was from his pad. He turned it over and saw part of a stick sticking out and bloods oozing around it. "Oww." He managed to say again and licked around the stick, too afraid to pull it out.

    "We should get you to the medicine cats before they leave for their full-moon excursion," Flamestep insisted. She was known to be quite the snappy, hateful she-cat, but no cat could tolerate a clanmate in pain. "Come, lean on me," She mewed as she stood beside the smaller tom. It was extremely rare to see this side of her, but Foxpaw's agony forced it out.

    "Thanks." He said gratefully, hoping that they weren't going to intrude on the medicine cats too much. Foxpaw was able to walk okay other than he couldn't use his front paw. Leaning on Flamestep helped a lot though he was still having some trouble.

    They hadn't been too far from camp, so within ten minutes the pair had finally inched their way back. "Spottedpool? Spruceleaf?" Flamestep called out, still allowing her apprentice to lean on her for support. "I know you will be leaving soon, but Foxpaw's hurt." Her posture seemed insisted; she would not let his paw go untreated.

    Spottedpool had ended up taking a nap as well and had just woken up when Flamestep and Fowpaw entered camp. She padded closer to the den entrance and meowed "Bring him on in. What happened?"

    Foxpaw hesitated for a moment, not wanting her to laugh at him. After a moment he admitted, "Flamesteo was training me how to fight from a tree and I fell on a pile of broken branches." If it could happen, his cheeks would of flushed a little red as he explained. He also wondered if she would blame his mentor for what had happened or Foxpaw for failing. Foxpaw reached out his paw for her to inspect it.

    As Flamestep helped her apprentice limp to the medicine cat's den, she explained, "We were training with aboveground attacks and when he jumped from the tree, he landed on a stick. "He's got a few scratches but a massive splinter in his paw pad." Upon reaching the den, the she-cat stepped away from Foxpaw, eyeing his bleeding paw intently.

    ooc ; hey I really doubt that I'm coming back to Oakclan anymore. Sorry about that. orz
    Could we pretend that Sunkit sneaked out again at night and died from a snake attack? Could create some final IC drama lol
    I just don't have muse for Sunkit and I sort of prefer mainboard clans atm. Oakclan was fun though, especially the whole incident with Sunkit and Pinekit. Thanks for everything ! :)

    I'm in the same boat

    I really don't know what's been happening. Foxpaw and Flamestep were training when Foxpaw got hurt. Snowspirit, her kits, and Falconwing are asleep in the nursery. (After saving Snowspirot's kits from a tree-they're drawing closer)
