What do you think about a takeover

    What are your opinions on having Shadowclan takeover Riverclan for a few days?
    The original plan was to have Shadowclan take over Riverclan for a week. But muggy suggested Shadowclan taking over Riverclan for a few days, and having Riverclan drive them out, resulting in a renewal of hope that they can overthrow Shadowclan, and grow again.


    The concerns for the takeover plot are: muse drain, lack of character development, and people not wanting to join Riverclan.


    So what do you all think about this?

    I personally think that takeovers usually have quite the opposite effect. It adds to plots and character development, and people are usually drawn to clans in conflicts which is how I ended up here, I might add.

Thats the part i think will turn away joiners and kill muse is constantly having to roleplay fights. Plus its an unfair plot if shadowclan just trashes our group without us gaining anything or provong our worth equally. Its up to icey on that, i already pmed her my argument on that point, but i think if we are going to have a takeover, it should end any future fights with shadowclan for some time.

I think a plot where ShadowClan takes over for a few days, and then RiverClan overthrows them and ends the mess would be fair. ShadowClan damages the territory, takes a few hostages, and claims revenge. However, RiverClan will fight them away, regain their hostages, and prove their strength and ability to counter a clan like ShadowClan. Both groups have proved their points, and there is no longer a reason to continue fighting.

    [justify]A takeover sounds interesting, I remember when Bloodclan took over Riverclan once and it gave a lot of people a muse boost although it did cause some to leave too, but there are always cons to pros. I myself would have fun during it, since I normally find muse during such events, so I very much support it.[/justify]

    just how outnumbered they are and whatnot
    but like i said, if you figure out some way to drive them out realistically, i'm up for it

    a brief takeover would be okay i guess, but as for driving them out
    maybe their allies send them some aid ?? because riverclan is pretty outnumbered

    If people are concerned about being outnumbered, maybe PMing the ShadowClan leader and asking them to send a limited amount of ShadowClanners would be the best option n___n


    I'm okay with a takeover as long as it's not for more than a few days; otherwise, I feel like it would be dragged out and muse draining.
    I'm not working for a few days so hopefully I'll be able to stick around for the event to happen!

    agreeing with that, also I think they are still planning on teaming with ScarClan, which would make us even more outnumbered.
