She was home. Clementine hadn't been home for a long time now. She had battled her urges but the fight was too much and ultimately she hsd caved in. The shiba inu had made sure that she was a great distance away from those she considered friends and even family before snapping. God, the look of horror in their eyes as she ripped into them. It was too much and not enough for her. Being a demon of tricks, she had taken delight in their torment as her inner ghoul pushed her on to devour her victim. So she had. And when the grip on her had been loosened and she looked at her reflection, she had cried. Her fur had been stained crimson with he blood of another and her taste buds had been tainted with the disgusting yet delicious taste of flesh. Mortal flesh. Those she had killed, they would never see their families and friends every again. So that cast the heavy weight of guilt onto her shoulders a she stood, gaze dull as she nervously glanced around. She didn't deserve this. She didn't deserve to see Phan and Kate and Caleb and Roo again. It would be easy to turn and walk away before being noticed but something kept her paws rooted to the ground. She gritted her teeth together, feeling the pressure on her jaw as she waited. The metallic tang of blood was long gone from her mouth yet the taste seemed to remain no matter how much she drank coffee to try and get rid of the aftertaste. Her ears flicked back to her head, muscles tense as she watched out for a Sunclanner.
