    Liam cheered him on, really just glad to see him in such a great state. He wondered if Cooper ever wanted to do this for a living, become famous for it. His thoughts were interrupted by someone calling his name, and he blinked, before the happy expression on his face turned to dread. A young brunette approached, grinning, happy to see him. "Hi! Didn't think I'd ever see you again, aren't I lucky?" she giggled. Liam wanted to groan - he'd been sexyally involved with this woman before, and she'd been hard to shake. He'd be a no strings attached kind of guy and had been with a few people - it was when he had been in an emotionless state after Eli died. She had followed him around a lot and didn't understand Liam didn't want a relationship. She'd been...a bit of a handful when it finally got throught to her. And now she was back. "Hey, good to see you," he lied. "I'm watching the show though, we can talk later?" he asked, trying to keep his attention on Cooper. The girl simply nodded and grinned and hooked an arm through his, going to watch with him. Liam mentally cursed all the gods.

    Cooper was only pulled out of his lovely dream world by an utterly gut wrenching sight. Some chick had her arm wrapped around his Liam...wait. what. He did not just mentally say that, did he? Great.


    He finished up his song and gave a 'what are you doing why don't you love me' face towards Liam, and shot the girl a dirty glance, quick as lightning. He normally wasn't the jealous type, but...that was most certainly his Liam.

    Liam did not like seeing the look on Cooper's face. He tried to look apologetic, and while the girl wasn't looking mouthed "she's crazy". Then he attempted to pull his arm free, and the girl frowned but let him, though she still stayed xlose. "Sorry, it's hot in here I'd rather not be touching" Liam said quietly. The girl shrugged and raised her eyebrows. "Then maybe we should go outside," she grinned. Liam shook his head. "Nope, I'm good," he glanced back at Cooper to see if he was done with his set or going to continue on.

    Cooper still wasn't too sure what was going on down there - it was a good thing he was just about done because now he had to go protect what was his. He liked that thought a lot, actually. After a quick shout to the crowd, who were quick to shout back, he ducked off the stage Anne worked his way through the crowd. He'd take care of the stage in a minute - first he needed to stop whatever was going on down here. He strutted right up to Liam, and with a triumphant smile wrapped his arms around his waist, all the while looking adorably innocent, as if he hadn't seen the girl at all. In fact, he didn't even look at her as he instead smiled up at Liam, before resting his head on his chest sweetly. This girl needed to know who was really gonna be going home with Liam.

    This girl was really annoying. In the meantime she kept trying to find excuses to touch him as she rambled on about something Liam wasn't even listening to. He just awkwardly smiled and nodded. Relief washed over him at the sight of Cooper, but before he could say anything the male had wrapped his arms around him, head on his chest. Liam was shocked himself, but it didn't take him long to return the embrace. "Hey," he chuckled. "You were amazing up there," he praised happily before glancing at the girl next to him - who was equally shocked and confused. "Cooper this is an old friend, Daisy. Daisy this is...Cooper," he made a small introduction, well an awkward one.
    "You're gay?" Daisy asked, shocked. Liam shook his head. "No. Excuse me though I have to help Coop with his stuff," he said with a half smile and then let go of Cooper but pulled him back through the crowd.

    Cooper smiled triumphantly as Liam was able to separate himself from the girl, Daisy. He shot her a lightning quick dirty look before following Liam back to the stage obediently. "So, what was that all about?" he asked, giving him a mock upset look. He knew it was his fault she was following him around, but he still didn't like it very much. He'd have to keep a better eye on Liam - he could understand very well why someone else would be interested, after all; he's Liam. Kind, funny, attractive...Cooper needed to stop doing this to himself. He needed to take a step back, evaluate his feelings - oh who was he kidding! He liked Liam, he just needed to know if he liked him back.

    Liam let out a sigh of relief when he was away from Daisy. She still looked confused back there and he wanted to laugh. He gave another apologetic look to Cooper as he asked what that was about. "She's an ex of a sort I suppose," he explained, running a hand through his hair. "We weren't dating but we weren't together. She didn't get that I wasn't interested in anything further and it took her a while for her to get that. I think she's still obsessed with me though," he said with a laugh and gave his shoulder a squeeze. "Thank you for the rescue," he grinned before looking around the stage. "All set? You really were great- I like seeing you happy up here," he went to start unplugging things.

    Cooper nodded his head as he listened, glancing back between Liam and the stage with a similar grin laced onto his lips. "Yeah? Was it good?" he asked, still smiling sweetly as he spoke. He loved performing more than anything else in the world, but he did feel self conscious about it. He always wondered if he was really any good at it or not.

    "Good is an understatement," Liam laughed. "I think you could do this professionally. Like...get famous you know?" he admitted and he started taking things down and bringing them back where they belonged. Then he waited patiently for Cooper. "Want to go walk around the park? Or stay here and mingle?" he asked, really not ready to go home. The night wasn't over yet anyways! And plus, maybe he was stalling time so that way they wouldn't have to run into Cooper's dad on the way back to their apartment if they were out later.

    Cooper smiled and began helping him bring the rest of the stuff back, listening as he spoke while he finished cleaning up. "Yeah, um...what do you want to do?" he didn't want to be rude and make Liam do something just because he wanted to. Though, a quiet park sounded nice, so did the hustle and bustle of this bar. The crowd was rowdy tonight - but alone time with Liam would be great too. He really wasn't sure and he'd rather he picked instead.

    Liam glanced around the bar, "Not going to lie, not sure I want to take a chance here and end up running into Daisy again. She is hard to shake," he said with a laugh. "I'll give you a moment though to talk to friends here, Nick or whoever and then we can go to the park," he put his hands in his jean pockets, standing awkwardly. "I really would like to discuss that hug I received. Jealous of Daisy?" he teased with a wink before motioning him to go ahead and lead the way .

    At the very suggestion of jealousy Cooper felt his cheeks and ears burn bright red, and found he couldn't quite argue. "Wh-what...? I'm not jealous..." he said unconvincingly, biting his lip before shaking his head. He was feeling awfully gutsy tonight - he reached over and grabbed Liam's hand protectively, intertwining their fingers and holding them tight as he led his way through the crowd, nodding in response to a few comments and giving a passing greeting as they walked.     "I-I just didn't want her bothering you" he said unconvincingly, turning away as he led him out the door. Once they were free, and Liam too his turn in the lead, Cooper couldn't help but smile. "It's fine - I'm assuming it won't bother you too much if I told you I'm gay then?" he said, though with a bit of apprehension. His sexuality was something he'd never been comfortable with - it was clear what his family thought of it, but it was so much more than that. He honestly surprised himself with how bold he was being about the whole thing - just joking like that. Liam made him feel bold enough to say something like that without a problem.


    Cooper followed with great obedience, like a dog at his owner's heels. He honestly felt such wonderful feelings in his chest when he was with Liam - feelings he never felt with anyone else.
