  • xXCarissaXx: I love 90s! That was the last full decade of good music. Today's music, most of it, is just terrible and meaningless.
xXCarissaXx: I really adore music that doesn't have lyrics. Piano, rain sounds, I love it!

[hr]curtie: ahh i like the beatles. i enjoy their earlier music though
    curtie: it sounds.. happier somehow?
curtie: i still like more recent music though. it's definitely not terrible or meaningless

    frecklemom: Huh? Sorry. Zoned out.
frecklemom: Oh! I used to listen to really cheesy old timey stuff with my mom. She'd always try to get me to dance, but I suck at dancing so I'd just tell her 'no'. Plain and simple.
frecklemom: ... It was especially awkward because most of her music was the kind of stuff the military listened to overseas. It's almost like she was perma-trapped in the 40s and 50s.

  • xXCarissaXx: I didn't say all of the music was terrible. I said most of it was, like the songs on the radio like "Work" and too many others to list. Halsey and Lana are pretty good, and while I haven't listened to her yet, I have heard that Melanie Martinez is amazing.
