FULL PERSONALITY ★ iliad is a wild card. depending on the day of the week, week of the month, how much its rained, and whether or not it is a waning moon seem to all be factors in his personality. not that he is bipolar or anything of the sorts, he is just so temperamental. usually, iliad is an angry ball of rage and grumpiness who can only be reached by a few close friends. on the outside, all he seems to be is a sarcastic, hotheaded, close-minded, smarta.ss with a bad temper. there is much more to the brunette boy then that. obviously, he is a very private individual, he keeps many of his feelings-except for anger of course-bottled inside. he does not trust very many people. he sometimes has a bit of an inflated ego when it comes to things like combat and physical capability. he firmly believes he could probably out-power most people. he is also very skeptical of new members to the group or unfamiliar individuals. behind this top layer of harshness is a kindhearted, genuine, boy. iliad is fiercely loyal and brave like a lion. he will do anything to protect or help someone he cares about. he is also tremendously trustworthy. he could keep a secret to the grave and just gives off the essence of someone who has your back. his humor is almost purely sarcasm, sometimes his comments can be smart-alecky. iliad is quite intelligent and clever. he is really smart, especially involving things like tactics.

HISTORY ★ trigger warning: mention of rape and murder
iliad nicodemus panathinaikos was born in a small suburban home to theresa harper panathinaikos and dmitri kyriakos panathinaikos. his mother, theresa, was an english teacher at the local high school and his father, dmitri, was a greek language, history, and studies, professor at a nearby college, hence iliad's highly greek literature inspired namesake. iliad was the second of four children, his older brother was named odysseus, odie for short, and his younger sister and brother were named athena and achilles, respectively. iliad grew up in a home full of creativity and literature. every night before bed, his parents would read them a chapter from some classic novel or epic, and during the day, the house would be singing the tunes of classical music, which iliad learned to appreciate. iliad's interests expanded many mediums. he enjoyed to play sports and wrestle with his youngest brother achilles, for odie was not interested in physical activity. iliad also sketched and drew magnificent pictures of his surroundings. he would sing the swinging melodies of fifties music, which is what was constantly playing at his grandparents' house. iliad would also dedicate time to read and appreciate literature and poetry. for a while, everything among the panathinaikos family was well. but the bliss was not forever. around the time that iliad was twelve, his mother offered to bring him along on a walk on their usual route. usually, the two went on a walk every week, but on this particular week iliad had an especially large amount of homework to do so he declined the offer. when she went on the walk alone, his mother went missing. about three days after she was reported missing, theresa was found raped and murdered and dumped in the woods a few miles out of town. they eventually caught the predator, but iliad constantly blamed himself. he was upset that he was not their to protect her. because of this event, iliad's personality began to shift. he was much more angry and protective towards people he cared about. he was sterner and more quiet. he dedicated more time to learning how to fight to let out anger, since the only thing that could take away his anger about his mother was causing or feeling any sort of pain. he spent less time outwardly appreciating arts and moreso focused on that in private, and much less frequently. iliad has still yet to move on from the traumatizing event of his mother's death and keeps his feelings about the event bottled in.

FULL PERSONALITY ★ Isis is generally a very driven and focused person. She wants to be the most effecient person she can. She has a lot of mothering tendencies and regardless of age feels responsible for others, especially the squad. As a healer she is adept and takes pride in it though she'd never say so. As a survivor she's clinical and detached as she's taught herself to be, and it has served her well so far at least. Finally as a person, she is caring and though she won't always ask what's wrong or stick around to listen to someone "whine" about their life or their problems, she'll most likely do or say something to try and help them out. She is, however, judgemental especially of those beneath her in rank, or choices made unilaterally and in general of anyone who disagrees with over something. She'll catch an attitude quick if she lacks or looses respect for an individual, and she holds grudges with those who've wronged her or someone she cares for or if they have upset her on multiple occasions. When she's had enough she'll throw small violet fits where she breaks, shoots, or trashes things. These tend to seem to come out of nowhere.

HISTORY ★
Isis has always been very intelligent and keen on getting to the next stage of her life no matter what stage she was currently in. When she learned to walk, she was already trying to run, when she started learning her letters, she began picking up chapter books, and when she started middle school, she started looking into colleges. Her parents were both doctors, her mother was an M.D.(medical diagnostics) and her father was a Cardiovascular surgen, both of them residents of a very prestigious hospital, St. Peters. They managed to convince their daughter that their work was more important than their relationship as a family or as parents to a daughter, and so at some point while she was small it occured to her that if she became a doctor too, she'd be together with them, or at least something like that, which is why she drove herself so hard. She was very studious and learning from her parents, she did not forge any very deep realtionships with her peers. She did, however, start babysitting at the age of 12 because, med school is, well, grossly expensive and doctors just don't get paid what they used to. Because of this she has made a lot of connections with younger children and developed, with her lack of a place to put any love, a deep attachment to them.

When she was in her second year of middle school, the outbreak happened. Her parents began spending less and less time with her if that was even possible, as the hospital scrambled to save who they could and, while people still thought it was possible, find a cure. When the problem became overwhelming her parents, as top doctors, were basically aquired by the new government to work at helping those who were affected. Isis saw virtually nothing of them after this and instead, to basically keep up her studies, went out to learn combat training provided by some of the soldiers. Perhaps that's what made it so easy for her to hear they'd become infected and been put down like dogs when a nurse screwed up restraining an infected individual they were running tests on and he got out and got to them all. With no one to care for her and the place she stayed quickly coming to ruin, she decided to prememtpively set out on her own until she found the squad.
