  • Bridgett woke up at the noise of Skylar rummaging through the bathroom. She sat up and her heart raced at the fact that Skylar was nowhere to be seen. HEaring the noise coming from the bathroom, she bolted up. "Sky?!" She shouted, opening the door. Her eyes widened at the sight of Sky sitting in the tub, cutting herself. "Sky, stop!! Please, stop!" She said, rushing over to her and pulling the hand that held the razor away.

She looked into Skylar's red, puffy eyes and looked down at her arm. "Oh god..." She said, barely above a whisper at the sight of blood. Bridgett took the razor, tossing it away and briefly hugging sky. "Shhh, it's going to be okay, you're okay..." She whispered before pulling away. She rushed through the bathroom, looking for something to stop the bleeding with. She settled for a small, thin towel and hurried back to Skylar, carefully placing it over the wounds. "Come on, let's get this cleaned up... Sky..."

  • Skylar felt her heart ache hearing Bridgett's voice. She sobbed and shook as she sat there. She slowly got out of the tub and looked away from Bridgett. Her clothes were stained in her own blood. She slowly walked to the toilet and sat down on the lip so that Bridgett could clean her. Sky was still shaking as she still felt the man who had done terrible things to her. She shivered as she thought about it and closed her eyes. She hated when Bridgett would catch her hurting herself, it has only happened a couple of times but each time it felt worse and worse. She shook her head wanting the thoughts of the man to leave and another son left her lips. The thoughts of him and now the throbbing pain in her arms hurt. "I can still feel him. What he.. What he did to me." Sky cried still not looking at Bridgett. She felt ashamed for being caught cutting herself.

  • Bridgett wore an expression of concentration as she cleaned the blood off of Skylar. The hard look in her eyes softened at the sound of Skylar's voice. She looked up at her, worry filling her. "Hey, look at me... You're alright, Sky. You're safe. I won't let anything happen to you." She whispered comfortingly and kissed her forehead. Bridgett finished cleaning Skylar and her wounds, quickly dressing them.

She wrapped her arms around her and hugged her tightly. "We can take a little more time to rest if you need it, Sky." Bridgett said to her. She was deeply concerned about Skylar. It was hard not to be, after all that Sky had been through.

  • Skylar winced whenever Bridgett touched the cuts feeling a rush of pain run up her arm and straight to her heart. She hesitated to look up to meet Beidgett's eyes. She listened closely and only nodded her head. She looked away again as she finished her wounds wincing again. Sky flinched then froze when Bridgett hugged her. She slowly wrapped her arms around Bridgett but hissed quietly in pain. She pushed the pain aside before thinking of the question. "I don't know if I will be able to go back to sleep." She spoke honestly. She was still shaking in her arms but not as bad as before.

  • "Alright..." Bridgett said quietly, gently brushing Skylar's hair back."We'll leave in a bit. Just...go lay down for a bit....please. That was... That was a lot of blood." She said before walking to the sink and washing her hand, cleaning them of Skylar's blood.

  • Skylar kept her eyes Biden from Bridgett. She nodded her head and walked out of the bathroom to the bed. She slowly laid down on top of the covers wincing at the feeling of her bandages rubbing against her skin. She sighed shakily and relaxed as much as she could. Her eyes remained open because if she closed them she could only see the things that had happened earlier that night. Sky kept her eyes on the door as she attempted to clear her thoughts.

  • After scrubbing her hands clean, Bridgett looked around the bathroom for any other blood. She turned on the water in the shower, washing away the blood left by Skylar in the tub. Bridgett washed away every last drop of blood, from tiny beads of the red liquid that had reached the floor to the faded slight stain on the sink. Looking at her hands and making sure that they hadn't been stained once more by Skylar's blood, Bridgett walked to the bedroom. She silently laid on the bed next to Skylar, pulling her close and holding her tightly.

  • Skylar visible flinched and stiffened feeling the bed move and arms wrap around her pulling her. She relaxed some feeling it was Bridgett's body against her. Her eyebrows were furrowed and her face was set in a frown as she laid there. She couldn't clear her mind and her thoughts wandered to dangerous places. She began to shake again for a minute. Sky then suddenly shot up and moved from the bed. Her heart raced and her eyes filled with fear. She was hyperventilating and tears began to run down her cheeks again. She felt around to try and hold onto something but found nothing. She moved to the wall and slid down to. Sky covered her ears because every sound she heard no matter how loud scared her. She eventually looked down at her knees that she lifted to her chest then squeezed her eyes shut. She shook and flinched every time she heard a car pass by.

  • "Sky? Sky, what's wrong?!" Bridgett said in alarm, jumping out of the bed. She stopped for a second, watching her. Every movement alarmed her, as if she was afraid that Skylar would simply shatter at any moment. Bridgett slowly walked up to her. "Sky...? Are you okay...?"

  • Skylar opened her eyes and slowly looked up at her. She didn't say anything but sat in silence. She kept her ears covered though she could still hear and the tears hadn't stopped. She flinched again at the sound of a passing car and snapped her wide fearful eyes to the door. Her heart hammered against her chest and she felt as if it would burst out of her. Sky couldn't breathe and a shiver ran down her spine. She couldn't speak, she felt as if her throat was sown shut.

  • "Sky...You're okay... Please...try to calm down..." Bridgett said quietly, walking up to her and gently wrapping her arms around the shivering girl. She was silent, holding her tightly before whispering. "Slow your breathing. Match it to mine, if you can." She whispered, shutting her eyes and breathing deeply. Despite how much seeing Skylar like this alarmed her, she knew that panicking wouldn't help the situation.

  • Skylar flinched again feeling her arms around her. She almost tried to pull away but forced herself to accept Bridgett's help. She looked up at her with scared eyes still hyperventilating. She hated her panic attacks, she wished they would leave and never come back. She hadn't had one in a while and this one hurt quiet a bit. She looked down at her lips to watch their movements as she took deep breathes in and out. Sky attempted to do the same and took in a shakey slow breathe but soon gasped for air like her life depended on it. She wrapped her arms around Bridgett and squeezed her eyes shut. She pressed her ear against her chest listening to her heart beat. Though it seemed to be racing it some how calmed her. To know she was actually there and she wasn't hallucinating her, which she has done before when having panic attacks though she was just a flash, relaxed her. Sky after about 10 minutes of her trying to slow her breathing down, relax and stop her tears, she did. Her body was heavy as she felt physically and mentally exhausted once more. She kept her eyes open and her breathing was very slow. She moved her eyes up to Bridgett's face, once she refocused them, to see what expression she wore. She hated worrying her and knew she did immensely.

  • Bridgett held her close, allowing her to listen to her heartbeat. When Sky's breathing finally slowed, Bridgett looked down at her. She wore a soft, gentle smile. "You okay now...?" She whispered, hugging her tightly. She didn't seem worried. Bridgett was mostly just relieved that Sky seemed to have gotten better.

  • Skylar's didn't say anything. She stayed silent and looked away from her. She had calmed her breathing some but she was far from ok. She simply nodded her head slowly. Thinking of what had happened that night. She didn't want to speak any more. She wanted to leave. She wanted to disappear and be alone. She didn't want to leave Bridgett but she wanted to push herself away from her as well. Sky still couldn't believe what had happened. What she had done. She should have stayed and let Bridgett go on her own. She would have been fine. She didn't want her to get in trouble and she didn't want to be around her. Her emotions were going everywhere. One moment she wanted to hold onto Bridgett and never let go and the next she wanted her far away. Sky pulled away from Bridgett and stood up with shaky legs. "I'm fine." She spoke in a weak voice.

  • Bridgett's brows furrowed. She stood up, looking at Skylar with a frown. She could see straight through her lie. "I know you're know fine. You don't have to lie to me," she spoke, her words falling from her lips like soft feathers. "If you're scared of me...I understand completley. If you don't want me here, I'll leave. But...if you want me to stay, I'll stay. Just...please...tell me. Tell me when you're hurting. Wake me up instead of hurting yourself. Listen to my heart when you feel a panic attack coming. I just...I love you. I'm worried about you. I know you're not okay. Nobody would be okay after what you went through."

  • Skylar didn't say anything. She didn't want to speak any more. She just wanted silence. She wanted to be left alone and no longer touches. The worry in her voice barely hit her as she stood there. She felt numb and terrible. She wanted to run away but she knew she wouldn't make it far. She would end up turning herself in. Sky looked over to Bridgett with a small frown. "You can't touch me. I can't do it. I need space." She spoke in a voice that sounded dead inside and that she didn't care. "I will clean myself up. You can go." She spoke and simply dismissed her. She turned to the sink and ran some warm water so that she could clean off the blood.
