Usually he wasn't the one for clans and he didn't like how they felt the need to be so over-protective about their home. He had been passing through another clan's territory one time when he was suddenly attacked by some of the people that lived there. It wasn't a good experience for him and he later discovered more clans had the same tendencies as the one that attacked him. It seemed that these 'clans' or 'tribes' or whatever they called themselves were appearing everywhere and were taking up more and more space of the places he was free to roam. Finally he thought it was time for a change. He wanted to see what life was inside a clan and if it was any better than the lifestyle that he already had.
What did clan-people call folk like him? Rogues? Loners? That didn't sound right, he wasn't lonely or dishonest. Those names didn't suit him, it made him sound like he was a guy that you couldn't or wouldn't want to hang around with. He felt the slight need to prove clan-folk wrong and show that people like him weren't so bad.
Arsenal was a maned wolf with deep amber hues, his appearance made him stick out in the green fields like a sore thumb which he hoped would attract some attention. The canid didn't have the intention of calling out just in case he had the wrong clan. The apprentice stood at what he presumed was the border and waited. They then proceeded to pull an arrow from the red, leather quiver which was slung on his back and then examined the projectile. It wasn't like he hadn't seen one before although it was at least something to do while he waited for somebody to turn up.
