  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]It seemed that today just wasn't Lucina's lucky day.

She'd awoken early, primarily because she always took it upon herself to go out on morning patrols to make sure there were no late-night trespassers still on the premises. The wolf had decided to go without her sword, considering she could use her power of conjuration to summon it to her side if she eventually needed it, though in retrospect Lucina figured that her old compatriots would have never let her live it down. Back in Ylisse, she was never seen without the legendary sword Falchion; it was usually stuck to her side like glue. But that was then and this was now. Lots had changed.

And it was while she was on this morning trek, after she had finished it of course, she had decided to take a nap. The blue wolf was resting for a bit when she woke up again, but something seemed...off. When she stood up she felt...smaller. Lighter. The Vice-Leader looked down at her paws and nearly screamed. She had cat paws. Rotating herself in a quick circle, Lucina realized that she wasn't a wolf anymore but a cat! A cat! Those damn shapeshifting powers of her must have been acting up again. One day she was a dragon, the next a manakete, and now she was a cat. For the sake of the gods, she hoped that it wore off eventually.

But it didn't. In fact Lucina spent a majority of the rest of her afternoon out in those woods, pondering what to do. She was panicking on the inside, but she didn't want to return to camp and worry everyone. All she wanted was to be back in her original body. Though...perhaps being a feline for now had its perks.
