His fur is short and solid white, usually kept rather clean and unruffled. His eyes are a very dark green color without hints of blue nor brown, taking an oval shape on his face. The feline is rather muscular and fit, with long legs and tail. A nick in his left ear is present from a past scrap, but otherwise no big scars or markings litter his pelt.
On June 7th, 2016, he started growing antlers. Right now they are very small stumps still, but they're growing in fast.[/fancypost]

Alcides has an idea of what he believes to be right and wrong and although currently he is more shy about promoting his opinions about things like torture and captures, he will progressively grow more frustrated with the current state of affairs regarding those topics and seek to push his agenda more firmly. Most of his opinions on issues stem from his childhood, as having lived with lawless rogues, he seeks a society that holds justice and honor sacred and enacts punishment against those who have done bad. He holds a grudge towards those who he thinks have done wrong and will seek to punish such people, yet he is forgiving in that if he receives an apology, he will stop his revenge quest if he believes they will follow through with their word.
Alcides speaks and acts very formally and politely, yet he can be slightly temperamental, more so down the line, and can flip to a harsher tone suddenly. [/fancypost]

Both were rogues, living with a band of others who were violent and unforgiving. They had a very particular hierarchy that revered those with strength and killed the weak so they wouldn't hold them back, taking advantage of their life for food instead of banishing them. Alcides' father held a pretty strong position within the Clan, but made a fatal flaw in loving another cat who's position in the group was less than stable.
When she was pregnant, the group treated her poorly, finding the pregnancy a setback for the group. Most mothers could keep up at least to their standards, but Alcides' mother was weak, pregnancy only further taking a tool on the white she-cat's frail body. She ended up giving birth to two kittens, Alcides and a brother [npc], and landing herself at the bottom of the group's totem pole as she encountered difficulties when recovering.
alcides' life ★ Alcides and his brother grew quickly, toughened by their surroundings. A lot was expected of them because of their father's position, but they were not always able to meet their expectations, leading occasionally to beatings. During one said beating however, the group's higher ups, excluding their father, took the punishment too far, ending the life of Alcides' brother.
His mother after this was a wreck, depression over her lifestyle and loss taking hold of her. No matter what Alcides' father tried to do to comfort the she-cat, she stayed sad and weak. When the father was out on a group mission, the leader called a meeting, taking advantage of the father's absence. In front of the group, Alcides' mother was killed, eaten, and the bones disposed of.
Father was outraged when returned, pushing the limits of his rank and attempting to attack the leader of the group for this order. The leader was not unaware this could take place given his action however, and he had a task force assembled to rid the group of the father should this happen. He too was killed.
After this, Alcides was scared of the group, feeling like he could be next since his family was now gone around him, all at this group's paws. The home he once loved because of its provided safety and family now was a minefield and he knew he needed to leave.
When the sun set over the horizon, the group moved out in the darkness, going for a night time raid. When they attacked their enemy, Alcides used the confusion and heat of battle mask his departure, feeling out of the only territory he'd know.
As so he arrived in DarkClan, adopting it as his new home with an open heart. He appeared alright despite his past, but all volcanoes are silent for a time. During his time there, he was promoted a couple times until he reached his current rank, intending to stay loyal for the rest of his days.[/fancypost]

chocolate lynx mink / blue eyes / muscular

His fur is a light chocolate color that darkens on the muzzle, feet, and tail. The darker points are marked with jagged, significantly darker, chocolate-brown tabby stripes. However he has a large amount of white and therefor his chocolate lynx mink pattern only shows on the base-to-mid tail, spots on the feet, and the top of the head. He's equipped with bright blue standard mink eyes. He used to have a slim build and small features, taking his small nose, ears, and paws for example, but as he's grown, his features have followed suit. To keep things simple, one can call her pattern genetically a black feline with the smallest traces of white littered throughout. To go more in depth however, one looks at the exact form of her lithe body and the way her colors have revealed themselves in her fur.
Having a base of ebony black, the she-cat blends in well with the night's lack of light, though she does not shy away from the latter either. The sun's rays have had a bleaching effect on her pelt, leaving traces of brown where once there exist only black. Weaving their way into her appearance are also strands of white, clustering on her chest but stretching up the sides of her neck to frame her thin face.
Karenina possesses wide, oval-shaped eyes that are colored a bright, almost luminescent yellow shade. Her face is small but square, with an overall tiny stature. Having long hair though can mask the short frame she seems to have inherited from Lirim, helping her appear at least a little more threatening than she does on her own.
Black coloring also stretches onto her nose and into her ears, though her whiskers appear cloudy white. Struggling with the upkeep of her hair, Karenina often has a whispy and messy appearance, but she tries her best to stay looking at least presentable. Her neutral expression is very gentle, but she can easily manipulate her features to convey whatever feeling strikes her in that moment.[/fancypost]

Karenina, from very early on, will desire to be in full control of her tumultuous life. She is afraid to step out of the drivers seat and thus will be mostly reliant on herself. While her attachment to others is strong and very obvious, especially given her maternal nature and passion for caring for others from as early on as plausible, she will keep the management of her own affairs as confined to herself as possible. She will learn over her early moons an ability to keep her emotions to herself and will, with even more time passing, learn to project fake emotions, be it to sway someone into feeling bad for the little she-cat or too not suspect anything of the innocent femme as her brain secretly works in overdrive. This last detail hints to the manipulative nature the cat will take up as she ages, learning what she can get if she plays her cards right. Often she acts on behalf of her own interests, though sometimes those close to her will be accommodated into her plans as well.
The black feline can be prone to making some quick, reckless decisions, giving no care to what may come from her doings. One bad addition to this characteristic however is how afraid the she can become when things go wrong--over her lifetime, she may make some large, questionable choices that send her running back home to her parents when things take a turn for the worst.
Along with this wider fear explained, she just is, in general, a scared creature inside though she tries her best to portray the opposite. She doesn't want others to see her struggle so putting up a front of calm, collected confidence is her main tactic of defense. Embodying elegance and self-assurance is one of her goals in order to hide the mess of emotions and chaos she carries within her.
Although she can, as aforementioned, control the majority of her emotions, it does not mean she lacks them. Every action seems to effect her to her core, tugging on every emotional string she has and driving her actions in passion-fueled ways. When she does let others see her true feelings beyond the simplest forms of happiness or sadness, it'll be like a dam bursting, drowning the listener of her woes in a sea of pent up feelings that have finally collected enough energy to burst through.
More positive traits can be placed with Karenina as well. One core feature of her character is her ability to see things from a unique perspective, never happy with simply the outside image of something, always looking to peel away the layers from the metaphorical onion of a situation. Whether she uses the insightful new look at things for good or bad can depend on the situation, though it'll often at least lead to benefit for herself or the group. She is also very flexible, ready to make due with whatever comes her way, even if it differs from the original game plan. To round off her personality, Karenina is incredibly loyal and will continue to be throughout her life.

[work in progress ]A lot of what he does is for himself. Most of his actions are in concern for only himself, and although he never really intends to hurt others with the majority of his actions, he doesn't really care if that is a side effect. He lies a lot, often about things he doesn't need to, and is prone to switching his attitude up on the fly. Usually he follows the orders of authority since most seem pretty easy to let slide, but he doesn't hesitate to disobey if he wants.
Most of the time, he appears very cheery and joking. He is often lost in thought and can have trouble remembering what he simply daydreamed about once and what actually happened. His mind is always full and going at full force, though often it is just packed with uselessness--he would be the first to admit that. Many of his actions are impulsive, as little of his brain room is reserved for actually thinking about things before he does them. He also rarely follows through with or finishes things. He has a problem getting attached to others, not bonding with those he should but rather clinging to those he hardly knows. Lastly, he does not like to be confronted with his actions, as he is a rather nervous creature in that sense.
