This is an idea I had, so if you want future events to be surprising to you (if it gets accepted) I wouldn't recommend reading the spoiler.
So my idea is that later on in the story The Organization (Whatever we want to call it) will attack and will tell my character to kill as many of the strongest metahumans(?) as he can but he will be unwilling to due to friendship or romance(hopefully). But we could also have it so that he really does try to kill them but is defeated by a combined effort of all the rpers. Which would eventually lead to him joining their side and helping to defeat other metahumans(?). This is just the base of my idea so feel free to change it how you want.
