As the need for cattle increased highly the cowboys needed more horses to help catch up to them, so they quickly brought out the best ways to help track and trap the horses. After locating the Valley Herd the humans trained big old track dogs to help catch the horses. Thankfully no of the members have been taken away for good but they needed help fast.

After deciding to help the horses the "Shield" protection was born. Wolves are to always stay close to there horse unless hunting. They take turns protecting the herd and driving away the humans && there hunting dogs when needed.

Above is a picture of Misty Cave, the horses come with there shields to help support them against bad weather.

The wolves take turns hunting so they are well fed and have there energy up to help protect the horses. Often the humans will come with there dogs to help get there so called "prize" meaning a horse. You must be carefully because the creatures carry guns.

When needed the team will take a quick trip to re fuel themselves with some icy cold water from "Otter Creak"

Right next to Otter creak comes Lush Meadow where the tallest and tastiest grass grows for the horses to graze while the shield are on lookout
