Nature. It’s a twisted kind of word, if you ask me. Nature just reminds me of vines twisted around thick branches like pythons twisting their prey. One thing that confuses me, if anything, is why it was decided that nature is a mother. Well, okay, maybe it’s not confusing at all (I just realised that), but still. Who decided nature was a woman? What if nature was a man instead? Men still have the necessary skills to be just as loving and caring as mothers can. But what do I know, right?
Anyway, I have a feeling that, before I die, at least 2 species of big cats will go extinct and I will probably die in a coffin with some weird technology stuff in it and nobody will throw flowers at me anymore. I liked flowers that you give to the dead, they’re always so pretty. Though it’s kinda weird to give someone that’s dead to be giving them something that’ll die in a matter of a few days, or even a week or two if you’re lucky. I have no idea how I got onto the topic of death.
I wish trees were hella more common nowadays. I remember almost anyone could climb them. You know, those races you have against your friends to see who would reach the top first in order for some prize that was usually lame or something? Or everyone would play hide and seek in the bushes but get distracted at some really cool looking bugs and then the whole game would just end with everyone searching for bugs? Or where everyone would think bushfires were really awesome, even though the air stank?
In a way, nature is like a blanket. We use her, I’ll call nature a her for now, wood for our houses, her animals for pets and materials and we use her for our entertainment (like climbing trees). The world will be lonely and cold once the blankets taken off, I think we’ll all end up regretting our actions by them.
