It was strange: So far from home, the two Alliance leaders dreamed of the differences in their lives had Nero been left alone(Sonic.EXE's the reason he went mad) and Eggman left Torch alone.

After some rest, Splash felt much better. He was no longer Paralyzed, but was still a bit sore.

Then woke up with a start, breathing deeply as her brain tried to register where she was. Slowly, she stood up, ignoring the flaring pain that went through her body, and stretched, walking out the room to check on the boys.

Fox and Splash were both stretching. "You should've heard your moaning." Fox teased. "Oh, like you weren't whining like a cub before you blacked out?" Splash shot back. The red fox simply snorted.

Thorn rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Can you two hush? Im not in the mood right now...

"C'mon, it's just teasing! We gotta get ready!" Fox said, quickly explaining the ambush to Splash.

She growled softly shaking her head still. "Then hurry up and gather your bearings so we can go and get him out of the forest."

Fox stretched with a massive yawn, surprised at her sudden snappishness. Fox was often irritable himself, but it was never this bad(often times)
