the three-headed creature wasn't one for trespassing. in fact, he had always considered himself a fairly righteous, moralistic individual. that might sound arrogant, or self-absorbed, but that was just the way cain saw himself. now, though, as he lingered on bloodclan's border, his veins seemed to be coursing with a recklessness he attributed with rippedjean's soul. surely he, though of demonic origins, would never be so stupid. bloodclan, though not quite on par with the exiles in sheer brutality, were not a clan to be trifled with.
