The gelding was a pro with trailers and never minded walking in or getting out. He waited patiently, nibbling on his hay, as Alex went back to retrieve her mare.


    Nova, on the other hand, was never very good with trailers. She hated the confined space and the bumping when the drove down the road. Alex led her over and struggled a bit before the mare had finally, but ungracefully, hopped inside. Alex made sure both horses were secure before she checked all of her tack.

    Jakob wasn't far behind as he led Eise to load into the trailer. Keeping a fair distance from the other two males, Eise snorted loudly, and Jakob yanked on the halter and lead road. "Shut up, versteht?". The stallions head lowered as Jakob held tighter and got closer to the trailer. "Gute morgen", the German greeted, a pleasant smile on his face.

    She smiled, "Good morning!" Quickly, she half ran half walked to go get Lady, who was prettyed up last night too. She slipped on her shipping boots quickly then her halter. Leading the beautiful dapple grey mare, she loaded her easily and quietly into the trailer. Looking aroun do, she asked Jakob, "Are you using the barn trailer, which is this one," she paused and tapped the trailer before saying, "Or your own?"

    She smiled, "5 minutes!" Bryn raised her voice for everyone to hear. "I have all my stuff, so just hop in when you're ready and we can go as long as she's ready to." She leaned against the trailer and yawned, she hardly slept the night before. Bryn gently scratched at her head, never messing up her hair or any of her show look.

    Bryn quickly finished the rest of the things of hers into the trailer "cabin". She smiled to herself as she looked everything over, her saddle pads, saddles, breast plates and bridles all shinned. The horses had their show halters one, the ones with their names engraved into the gold barn plated on the halter. Bryn stepped out so other could finish loading up their stuff. She checked in with her horses quick, taking notice there was plenty of hay for the hour trip to Kentucky.

He had been thoroughly groomed, and she only just noticed the brushes scattered by his stall. Grumbling under her breath, she removed Comet's faded red halter and slipped on the newer, shinier bridle. He flopped his lips, resisting the bit until finally she got it in.
    "What am I ever going to do with you?" She murmured out loud, chuckling softly and throwing the short white saddle pad over, and the saddle on top. Fixing the girth as well as she could, Samantha took hold of the reins and began to lead him outside the barn, catching sight of Bryn.
    "Morning," she called in a friendly tone, holding Comet's reins a little tighter as he bobbed his head and sidestepped. "Am I using a barn trailer?"    [/justify]

    Bryn smiled and nodded at the girl. "Of course you can. I think there four more after his that can fit in the trailer. We are leaving in five minutes. Do you need help Jakob?" She frowned slightly as the stallion acted up. Her own horses where finally calming down.

    "Come on, Comet." She murmured in a tight voice, patting his withers and scratching behind his ears for a few moments. "Big day. Don't start misbehaving," she added as he snorted forcefully. After a final twitch of the ears, he followed Samantha into the trailer.

Her stomach growled even though she was eating an apple. Lucky for her she had a cooler full of snacks for both the show and the ride up. As well as some for the horses. After she finished her apple, she threw away the core. Alex began doing a couple simple stretches before the ride, something she often did even hours before a show began. After she hopped out, she shoved the keys into her back pocket and headed towards the back of the trailer. Upon looking inside, she found Nova chewing on hay and Oddy fast asleep.     Unlatching the trailer's lock, she opened it to see her Missouri Fox Trotter staring back at her with beady black eyes. He let out a small nicker, and she stepped inside, ready to take him out. Please don't act up like you did getting in.

    Bryn stepped into the trailer she was using and grabbed Lady. She heard Tucker stomp his foot hard and rolled her eyes. "Yes yes, I'll bring you out too." She backed out Lady nicely, she was a pretty quiet mare. Loosely, she tied her dappled mare to the trailer and grabbed Tucker. She unhooked him and back him out, his sleezy was sweaty from his nerves. She untied Lady and led them both to their stalls.
