[b]" um, hello? " the canine called out, a smile on his face. alright, he knew the drill. this was an anticlan. he had to be as nice as possible. he was on [i]their territory, anyway. and they were neutrals. for all he knew, the leader here didn't like gavin in tobe, and suddenly declare a war on them all because he was here. he had to keep it nice and simple. of course, his face didn't show any of the worry he was feeling. he looked as if he were totally at peace.

Basil knew little of the person at the border, but it was his job to take care of these things anyways. Stepping forward, the small black feline offered the canine a flash of a smile before tilting his head, brown eyes widening slowly. [b]"Hello. Name and business?"

  • Walking along the border Raven noticed Basil, questioning someone. Was he a joiner? Was he an ally? Or was he just having a visit? Whatever it was, he hadn't answered yet. Halting next to her brother, her verdant gaze was fixated on him.

  • [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px; width: 400px;][justify]★ Ghostwriter hadn't heard much of TOBE, but perhaps it was before the feline hadn't been as around as much as she would have liked. But regardless, who was this? It didn't seem to be anyone she recognised, not even someone she had attacked before, tortured or killed. The fem frowned softly. She supposed that was how things were as she padded over with a bounce in her every step. "Hello, charming," the first mate smiled, winking towards the canidae.

  • Jekyll padded over and sat down to listen to what the wary traveler had to say. He didn't seem hostile anyway, so Jekyll pulled out a canteen full of water. "It's water, would you like some?" he asked offering the cold metal container to Feliciano.

  • The sun was being shaded by a gaggle of clouds that had been making their way across the sky for the last few hours, but it was still a bit warm out, if you had the sturdy wood of the boat beneath you. It seemed to hold heat, saving it up for any animal who wish to lay along its planks and absorb its haunted gifts. There were small fees to pay for such comforts, but Slippaw gave them willingly.

Now she rose with the others and made her way to shore to greet the newcomer, her eyes slowly traveling over the canine form. Not many dogs in the skulls, besides Jekyll of course, but he seemed a bit... off to her at times. Nothing to be scared of, as far as she could tell, but something that set her teeth on edge.

Oh, I wonder what the tribe of burning eclipses wants with us, hmm?

A good question, indeed. It was quite a ways out here for nothing. Slip let her green eyes scan over the canine once more, and a bit of a thrill went through her. What did he know about the outside world? She loved her boat, and her clan, but she always wanted to know more about what lay out there, in the mountains, where the rain fell miles to reach the ground and the ice made footpaths slick all year round.
