Oh my god, the boy thought. it's a freaking rainbow country. Which he didn't have anything against, of course. Not yet.

As paranoid as he was, Andrew stopped to sniff the border, making sure he wasn't a step over the line. (His paranoia might of been caused by his lack of capable defense.) Content that he wouldn't get body slammed for trespassing, he tried to remember how this joining process thing went. Did you wait for someone to find you, or did you have to yell something? Because honestly, Andrew wanted to know the statistics of someone patrolling a border in this giant territory. So with indecision clinging to him like always, the boy turned and yelled at his brother:

    "Kaden, hurry your ass up!"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px;][justify]Kaden had slacked behind a little; he wasn't all for sprinting to the border, to be honest, having already done enough of that thanks to his brother. However, when he heard his brother's call he picked up his pace a little, wanting to get to the border quickly. A new home was really all he wanted, so long as his brother was there as well - he was tired of walking everywhere. His feet were sore, it was annoying hunting all the damn time, and he'd like to wake up to somewhere he knew he belonged.

"Yeah, yeah, calm down." Kaden huffed as he came to a halt behind Andrew. His gaze swept across the territory, and his jaw slacked. This was quite literally rainbow; he didn't think he'd heard a clan name more descriptive of its territory. "Holy..." He felt a smile tug at the end of his lips. This place would be perfect, he knew that for sure.

Frightfur looked surprised to find the two eerily similar canines near the border as she came a little closer, metal paws clicking against the ground like clockwork. In reality, she had known they had arrived. The spirit had seen it through her otherworldly senses from far within the pastel village and had come running since then even though teleportation had also been an option. Like usual, she felt self conscious about the metal spike that jutted from her chest and pins in her tail, the robotic forelegs, too, were unnerving. Her collar with the bedazzled 'Bite Me' was the least of her worries when considering things that would embarrass her. She came to a halt, giggling. "Oh! You two look alike... and dumbfounded. Have you never seen Colouredclan?" she asked with a glow in her doe eyes,"First things first, I'm Frightfur around here. Do you both have names?"

Charlotte, being as cheerful as ever, was the next to appear, her usual warm smile apparent on her pale face. With a flap of her downy wings, the feline stood just behind Frightfur, eyes fixed on the strangers in front of her. They knew each other's names, so she assumed that they were travelling together, but what for though? Maybe if she stopped daydreaming and actually started listening then she would know by now. For now, the kitten remained unusually quiet, waiting patiently to hear the visitor's responses.

    yes it is)

Andrew childishly stuck his tongue out at his twin, shifting his weight back to sit on his haunches. If there was some sort of security gate they had to go through that took thirty minutes, he would have left his brother for dead and gone on to figure the hell out of this rainbow clan. Fortunately for Kaden, he managed to catch up. Darn it.

As the first ColouredClanner approached, Andrew blinked, already slightly freaked out. They...well, they had a teddy bear strapped to their back, for one. If that didn't scream stereotypical horror movie sociopath child, then he didn't know what did. For another thing, they had pins sticking out of their tail, a spike sticking out of their chest, and metal paws. Andrew found that both unnerving and cool. Like, they could just run through a crowd and kill people left and right. Last was that collar that said bite me. That...that just made him uncomfortable.

"Uh," The boy struggled to find his words. "No." He shifted his weight, glancing at his brother with slightly widened eyes to confirm that this person was...real. "And, er, this is my brother, Kaden. I'm Andrew. We're here, um, to join, I think." Sounded legit. Andrew offered an awkward smile. What. As Charlotte landed, Andrew had to do another double take. A triple take. So, one looked like a serial killer, and a child had angel wings. 'Kay.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]"Well it's only natural to be dumbfounded." Night would approach, a jovial smirk traversing his maw, as he halted by Fright's side. "It's important to take pride in the beauty of your own home, after all." Colouredclan was pretty magnificent in its territory, after all, and there was no point in being humble or modest about that.

His mismatched orbs would shift towards Andrew and Kaden, shortly afterwards, tossing them both a grin. "You think, huh?" He'd chuckle, amusement enlightening his chiseled-features. "Well, welcome to the clan. I'm sure that you'll be a lot more sure about your decision once you take a closer look around." Night would pause for a moment, before giving a shrug. "Do either of you want a tour, or directions?"

Oh shit, wait, hadn't he forgotten to introduce himself? "Oh yeah! Nighttales Xerses, lieutenant-commander, it's nice to meet you both." Geeze, that had been a rather close call. He had to stop distracting himself with his own talkative-mouth.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px;][justify]Frightfur certainly lived up to her name; Kaden couldn't help but widen his eyes slightly as he saw the feline approach. The teddy bear strapped onto her back was actually quite cute but he couldn't say that it brought a sense of comfort. Metal-clad paws and-- were those spikes in her tail? Kaden supposed that she just had a different sense of style. That was fine.

The seven month old lifted his head cheerily and offered her a smile. She seemed friendly. Andrew had already said his name, but he decided to say it again, because why not. "Yup, Kaden." He affirmed. His gaze slid over to the smaller of the two, who had just arrived. She seemed friendly too. Her wings were nice; he couldn't help but stare at the feathered appendages with awe. Everything here seemed so... grand and... big.

As he heard Nighttales, Kaden lifted his head, gaze snapping towards the serval. He offered him a cheerful smile. "It's really nice here," the canine agreed, chocolate orbs once more sweeping across the colourful land before him. He didn't really know where to look; everywhere there was something different and... colourful. God, it was just so colourful. How was he going to remember his way around this place?

But with that confusion and wonderment came a sense of pride. Even if he had joined, what - thirty seconds ago? He could imagine himself living here. The idea excited him more than he expected. He glanced over to his capricious brother, who was being both awkward and friendly - then again, when wasn't he? "A tour would be great," Kaden said after a moment's hesitation, because he was sure that he'd get lost five minutes in. "Or even just directions."

He smiled at Xerxes again. "Nice to meet you. I'm Kaden," he repeated, in case the male hadn't heard him or Andrew the first time. Ooh, lieutenant commander? That sounded pretty cool. He didn't know anything about the ranks either, but he was sure that that was pretty high up; it had commander in it.

  • And here came Owlflight, the Clan bitch. Not a female dog bitch, a mean bitch. There was actually a chill that coincidentally passed through right before Owlflight came into vision. Owlflight is a muted calico-patterned Norwegian Forest cat, so she's pretty large for a domestic cat. She would probably go up to (possibly) one of the shepherds' top of the leg (not shoulder) in height, and she wasn't finished growing. She'll most likely get more muscular and longer over time though. Not important.

She stared at the canines with narrowed eyes, but her muzzle was left in its neutral form, so it looked like she was smiling. She looked like she was plotting something, even though she was just grumpy (as usual).. "I guess you have to know I'm Owlflight," she told them, not sounding enthusiastic.

The girl swallowed slowly under the two canid's gazes. They didn't seem cruel but she felt their...fear? Awe? Wonder? Whatever it was she detected ever so slightly in their eyes when they looked at her made her feel disgusting. Did she really look that disgusting? She fought the answer. Of course she did. She looked like a serial killer cutie and even the body she appeared as was possessed.

"Well, hiya, Kaden, Andrew! Good to know you are fancying the place. Especially since you'll live here now. Umm, there are better people to ask for directions than me and better people to ask about how things work around here, too," she said. It wasn't that she doubted her abilities, she was lazy and not lying. She was not the most useful when it came to plenty of things and knowing all about Colouredclan was one of them.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify][size=9pt]Aww, they were brothers? Charlotte didn't have any siblings, but she kind of wished that she did. Lots of people told stories of how they were close with their siblings and Charlie often felt a little excluded because she couldn't relate to that feeling. Heck, she didn't even have any parents. Yes, she had been adopted into a family, but she didn't see them very often. It would be a totally different experience to grow up with your family in the same clan as them - the bond would most certainly be stronger anyway. "Welcome to Colouredclan!" the white-furred child said at long last, her tail swishing with glee. "My name's Charlotte, pleasure to meet you both."
