    [font=comic sans ms][color=violet]Evening Star smiled down at Alpha. "Of course. The capital is in ruins as well as another town. So many good ponies and changelings have died. The whole world is against each other. The Queen's worlds were sad, despite her kind smile. Wisdom sparkled in her eyes as well as a deep sorrow. She had seen many things in her life time. Too many.

    Alpha Jet nodded, allowing the Queens words to comfort him. He looked towards the horizion, a new fire in his eyes "Queen Evening Star, if you ever need a companynof soldiers to stay back and be the rear guard, dont hesitate to call on the Celestials."

    [color=violet]ic: Evening Star nodded at Alpha Jet. "I will remember your offer." She smiled kindly. "Thank you." She directed her attention to Zeta. She could tell that this one was smart. "This war isn't the first one I've seen. The shadows are a new enemy, but fighting isn't a new thing. Peace may have reined for a last time, but before that was another battle. I knew one day the peace would end. And it did, but the one thing I've learned is that the war will end too. Then peace will come back. It always does. It doesn't have to be right away...but as long as it does, we'll be okay." She touched both Zeta and Alpha Jet with the tips on her wings like a pat on the head. "So don't worry. It's going to be okay."

    Alpha Jet nodded "Yes Queen Evening Star, the only way that this will end is with us as the winners. Ponies of all kinds have thruved for years before use, and they continue to thrives for years into the future. The only thing cant give up, is hope." He said, smiling at the Queen. At that moment he knew, he had made the right choice in joining the guard.

    IC: Zeta instinctively flinches away from the sudden touching. "S-shall we go now?" She fidgets a bit, not comfortable with staying still for very long in case a Changeling hopped by and somehow recognized her.

"Yes, we are almost to the camp. Once there, You all should head to the medic and get some rest. I must go straight to the meeting tent..."

    [font=comic sans ms][color=violet]Evening Star nodded. "Well, then you can gather with the other refugees and help out." She looked at Zeta, "that is, if you want." She walked on, noticing her paranoia. "Is something wrong?"

    [font=comic sans ms][color=violet]"I don't disagree..." Evening Star said, watching Zeta carefully, "But what do you consider an enemy? You seem to have quite a lot if you jump at every noise..." She wondered just who this traveler was. Zeta was definitely not an average pony...

    [font=comic sans ms][color=violet]"I see..." Evening Star said, "Well, you don't have to worry. No one will hurt you at camp." She nodded to the white tents in the distance. "There it is. It's just a temporary resting spot til we get to Ridden Valley, but it will do as our home for now."

    [font=comic sans ms][color=White]ooc: not really, Aqua told the other commanders that she is General now, but no one really believes her. Evening Star and the gang are almost to camp and encountered two ponies one the way there. Alpha jet is suspicious of them, though.

    Blue wandered through the camp, his eyes darting from one pony to another. While he believed he was merely checking for signs of Changeling or Shadow intruders, Blue was really making sure he avoided Aqua. While his anger towards her was beginning to simmer down, Blue still didn't want to have to tell her why. She would ask. He just knew it.


    Rounding a corner, Blue noticed a group of ponies surrounding none other than the female pegasus herself. Blue groaned inwardly, and shrank back into the shadows, watching them. He wondered why such a big crowd had taken an interest in his old friend.


    May as well see what's going on, Blue though to himself. He stepped out of the shadows, flipping the hood of his cloak up with magic before sliding up into the back of the crowd to hear what they were saying. His black ear twitched as one pony's loud voice rang right into his ear, but he otherwise concealed the shock of what he was hearing.

    Sun Bolt was amazed by how many ponies had been wandering the ruins. It made sense, since some ponies lived here, but wouldn't they have evacuated and left the fight to ponies like her? It was strange. Maybe Sun could ask them about it. She had never met this many ponies before.


    Continuing her happy skip beside Queen Evening, Sun noticed that a line of white had broken the fields ahead of them. "Is that Ridden Valley? It's really white and... fabricy," Sun exclaimed, her stride faltering. She had expected something like the other town, not a white line in the middle of a field.

    [font=comic sans ms]Evening Star looked at Sun Bolt with a smile. "Oh no, this is just a temparary stop. Ridden Valley is actually in the huge valley behind it. After we get seen by a medic and sleep a bit, we'll be heading to the town. I'm sure that some scouts have already been sent there."


    Aqua Swirl glared at the ponies. "Yes, I am. The Queen can conform it when she comes. Now, has any scouts been send into the Valley yet?" One of the ponies who seemed to believe her nodded. "We sent a group of 5 scouts there when we arrived. They should be coming back to report around dusk." Aqua nodded, "I see. Good work. Please inform me when they return. The Queen should be coming back soon, but as of now, I'm in charge. If anyone has any questions, I'll be in the planning tent, studying the map." The ponies nodded, some begrudgingly. The crowd soon disbursed and she let out a tired sigh. Aqua walked slowly to the map and sat down next to it, all the hurt of the day weighing her shoulders down. She tried to read the map, but her eyes threatened to close on her. She hadn't slept in a long time. She yawned, still not noticing the cloaked pony that hadn't left.

    IC: Zeta follows quietly, taking in the area. Every detail being memorized in case she had to make a quick escape. But there was one thing Evening Star mentioned that stuck in her head. "Madame, you said good Changelings were lost in the fight at the capital yes? So my friend wasn't the only one to leave the Queen's service?"

    [font=comic sans ms]Evening Star nodded at Zeta. "Oh yes. In fact some of the changelings are here right now with the refugees. Please be nice to them. Just like the ponies, their whole life was taken away from them. Treat them as you would normal ponies." She told them all. "If you need me, I'll be at the planning tent." She glanced at Alpha. "I want you to go straight to the medics and get bandaged up. Send one over to the planning tent for me please. After that, come on over yourself."
