    Mia

She was their weapon. She was their tool. She was....a vampire. There used to be a time when she would have fought back. A time when she would have not fed, but those times are gone. They had beaten into her what happened when you resisted. They had shown her the awful pain of hunger. The feeling like you were dying as the days passed.

Emotion was no more. She was a doll in this place. Her face gave away nothing and everyone was disgusted with her. She wanted to tell them the truth. She had a friend once but that was when she had a name. Now she could barely remember her name, and that friend.....he now was the leader of her prison.

She used to believe that he would never do that, but then he saw her. He saw her the first time she had gone without feeding, and he almost died. She understood. She would hate herself if she had that emotion left.

Her dull red lifeless eyes looked at the door as it creaked open. She felt herself being brought into a bright room and had to squint after being left in the dark for so long. The guards let her go and she knew by now not to fight back. She stood there looking at the ground until she heard Him tell her to look up.

Memories came flowing back when she met his eyes but she stomped them down. Those wouldn't help her now. She knew that, but that didn't stop the emotions from quickly flashing in her eyes.

    Rules:

  • Leo Mitasuki

Like most days, they were wasted with documents and filling. Boring job of being Leader he had to make sure everything was done to his standards. He may be the one in charge but he knew there was secret pressure on him to keep things at bay from the public.

He had ordered the guards to fetch her. He hadn't seen her in person for many months..in truth it hurt. It reminded him of everything..All the times I was there for her...All that time she kept it secret...And yet I was the one she tried to kill. Shes a monster..

Leo was strong, but after months in hospital after the damage she had caused him. The loneliness had turned into hatred. It was only by circumstance that it would be her that they wanted.

Once in his office he saw, he saw the empty shell and smirked slightly. He hadn't done this..his men had and it was To his standards so to speak. "You...have a mission.."He said with his soft yet dark voice. He flipped open his case file "This one...Is dangerous..Do you understand Girl?"He adressed despite the emotion in her eyes his Ice blue orbs were blank.

  • The voice that reached her ears was one from the past. It would appear in her nightmares from the night she tried to kill him. His screams of pain would still echo in her thoughts as they were now. She realized he was speaking to her and focused on what he was saying.

"Yes sir, I understand." She had gone on dangerous missions before and they always thrilled the predator in her. It let her stretch her abilities to the fullest and it usually meant she could feed. She felt her fangs prick her lip and quickly sheathed them. Her red eyes not hiding the predator part of her.

  • He stared at her a few minutes as he remebered the voice. And he tensed slightly at the memories that flashed in his mind. And he clenched his jaw "Well..Here is the client..He wants his wife killed so he can gain her life policy. See to it that nothing traces back to him"He ordered as he stared down at his hand. He hated this whole situation. He hated his life.

  • She took the information and a look of disgust crossed her face. These type of people had always bothered her. She knew they were hired by the husband put his safety was of little concern to her. Who was to say she couldn't be bought off by the wife. Still, she nodded her head. "When would you like me to head out?"

  • Leo bit his lip "You will get one feeding then you will head out. I know this lient may give you a chance to feed on him. And I guaranteed his safety...I don't want you to harm him You can insult him but not abuse him"He ordered oldly.

  • Mia's fist clenched but she bowed her head. "Of course sir." Inside she wanted to challenge his orders but knew it was no use. Still, she would see how things turned out once she got to the house. Turning, she headed towards the door so she could get something to eat before going on her hunt. Her eyes were already scarlet and she gave a fanged smile to one of the guards as she walked by with predatory grace.

  • Leo watched her go with a smile at her anger and slight annoyane to his orders about her feeding. He normally didn't care about a clients safety. He didn't this time but he wanted to see her suffer slightly. He wanted to take out all his pain and hatred on her. But he knew he had to be a respetful boss. "Follow her one she heads out...Make sure she doesn't esape "He ordered two guards who he knew were stealthy enough.

  • Mia made her way silently down the halls. A few people had jumped when she brushed past them. Her eyes scanned the humans in the building but she knew the drill. She made her way to the fridge where they kept the blood rations. The guard called someone before opening it and producing a bag of blood.

With a nod of thanks, she took the packet and ripped off the valve of the packet with her teeth. She tilted the bag up and was quick to pour the cold liquid down her throat. She had learned how best to swallow the refrigerated blood so it didn't make her gag. Still, fresh from the source was always the best when it came to human blood.

Once she was done, she made her way to the door and walked out into the world. Her ears caught onto the ramblings of humans and the heart beats of different ones that walked by. The new heart beats always caught her attention for a few seconds but she turned away. She wouldn't be the monster that they thought she was. Not while she was fed and able to control the predator in her.

She slipped her way through the shadows and to the house that had been listed in the file. Glancing up, she could see that all the windows in the house were dark except one. She frowned, and measured the distance from it to the window she was planning to enter from. They looked to be a floor apart so that would work to her advantage.

  • As she walked out two guards followed. One following directly and the other taking a long way to the house just to check if she would turn up. Despite all her training and torture, they were always careful. She was a vampire after all and they couldnt trust her.

Inside the house was the small family, the husband who had already cheated and decieved his wife who he wnted dead. Two small children who prefered the mom to their father. Only because of the abuse they would get from him whenhe was drunk.

The children were already asleep in the other room. The wife was in bed reading with the lamp on as the husband stayed down in the kitchen drinking in the dark.

  • Mia silently wedged the window open and dropped down into the room. It was a study room with a few bookshelves and a desk. She crept her way across the floor and made her way to the door. The drunk mutterings of the client reached her ears. His tone sounded aggressive and she listened to see where he was.

He wasn't close enough to be of concern as she wedged open the door and silently made her way to the wife's room. She heard something break downstairs and angry muttering from the drunk man. Knowing she had a limited window, she made her way up the stairs and slipped into the wife's room. She put a finger to her lips and motioned for the wife to be quiet.

"I only have a few moments so please don't scream. You're husband has hired my company so that they would send me to kill you. Looking through the file I know you are not the one who deserves it in any stretch of the imagination. Now, I am going to provide a window of opportunity to help you and the children leave. When I nod my head I want you to shriek loudly and then run to the children's room. Hide there until you hear no more sound in the house."

  • The wife noticed the girl and her eyes widened in surprise. She listened and was even more shocked. She knew her marriage wasn't working out but she hadn't expected this. She nodded to the girls plan. But she seemed uneasy about her drunk husbands behaviour downstairs.

The husband knew today she would die, the man he paid had guaranteed it. He had thrown the bottle at the wall in anger that he had to wait so long. And hat his wife had ignored him the past few months beause of the stupid kids.

  • Mia knew that trouble awaited her after she acted on this but she accepted it. She would take anything as long as it meant that the innocent did not add to the blood on her hands. She gave a nod to the wife, knowing she had a limited time to reach the husband, before speeding down the steps. She cleared one after the other before arriving to the kitchen.

The room smelled heavily of alcohol and it was stronger for her sensitive nose. Still, she picked up the heartbeat of the man that had tried to get his wife killed off. She seemed to have disappeared and reappeared in front of the man as she gripped the collar of his shirt and pinned him to the wall. She unsheathed her fangs and reared her head back. She gave a sadistic smile before going for the killing strike.

  • As instructed the wife shriek and ried before she ran to her hildrens bedroom and woke them up before paking their bags.

The man had been on his way to investigate the shriek hoping it was her death. But when he was suddenly pinned to the wall to face the stranger he growled "I wa-"He was ut off by the pain and his death. He was about to say he wanted his money back.

The guards saw what she did. They were very observent "Leo will not be proud of his mistake to feed her.."One whispered. "Yet this will not improve her chances of getting in his good books and not being used into a weapon...I heard that the boss and her were one friends.."The other replied and the first one remained quiet.

  • Mia was quick to drain the man of the red liquid that kept him alive. She tossed his corpse aside and quickly made her way out to the guards. "I know the drill. Go ahead and slap those cuffs on me. Take me to your leader and all that", she grumbled. She hadn't preformed to his orders or the client's wishes at all but it was the one small rebellion that she could do to truly be herself.

  • The guards simply sighed "You aren't very keen to leave and be free are you?"He said aking out the cuffs he made sure her arms were in front of her as he put one uff on her and the other on him.
The second guard stared at her "I heard...You were once friends with our boss?...What happened? Cause the look in his eyes when he sees you is almost...hatred.."

  • Mia flinched at the guards words and looked down at the ground. "It was my fault for getting to close to him. His parents decided to teach us a lesson. When it comes down to survival I'm a monster no matter who it is", she muttered. She didn't fight as they led her away back to the camp.

  • The guard sighed "His parents? Hes never mentioned them.."
The other one thought for a while "thats why he had the scar on the back of his neck to his back...he never talks about any of this.."He said as he walked her back to Leos office. "Warning..hes drunk...badly..i cant guarntee your safety"the first said before opening the door.

  • Mia gave them a smile as she walked towards the door. "Don't worry. If he kills me it would be the best for both of us", she assured them before walking through the doors and closing the door behind her. She knelt to the ground and bowed her head. "Sir", she greeted him.

  • Leo watched her "Tell me what happened..Now!"He knew that she had killed the husband instead since the guards had radioed in. His eyes looking at her coldly yet with a hint of pain.

Memories of her flashing through his mind, it hurt because he wanted it back so badly. Because that was the only good thing he had was a friend but now he was so bitter and alone.
