Chris got up and moved to Eve

She smiled slightly, "They were both excited to be here." She said

" well at least one of them was excited to see me," He said, taking her hand

"oh don't mind Gary. He's sixteen and doing the whole moody teenager thing." She said

He noddedand smiled, gently taking her hand

She smiled then glanced up as Garrison came back down, talking into his phone, "going out!" He called back to them as he went out the door

Eve glanced back to Chris, "he was never going to change his mind." She said softly

" I know," He sighed

"I prefer not to think about it too much." She said

He nidded sliwly," hie have yiu been?" He asked

" And Lee and Jason?" He asked

"She's adapted really well to living in a world not designed for vampires and Jason is still off drugs." She said
