She watched her go, letting her smile fall as she turned to leave

In an alleyway not far from Eve's house, Jason was raising a dumpster, trying to find something edible

She fronwed glancing down the allywa, her eyes widening when she realized who he was

He didn't seem to notice her. He was half leaning into the open dumpster. He pulled out a half eaten hamburger, inspected it then sat down with his back against the dumpster and started eating, scoffing the food as though he were starving and he seemed skinny enough to be.

" J-J-Jason?,'' She whispered

He glanced up sharply but relaxed when he saw it was her, "Lee." He said

She stared at him

Shoving his dinner behind him, he stood up, standing at an angle as if hiding something.

" Hey, Do you want to get dinner with me?" She asked softly

"Wh-where? I'm not going home." He said

" The diner? I-I kinda figured ... that you wouldn't want to come home," She mumbled, glancing away

He thought about it then nodded, "ok." He said

She turned to head to the diner

He followed her

She led him to the diner

He slouched into a corner booth

She sat down across from him

Snatching a menu he held it up so it was almost blocking her view of him

This action made her even sadder. She pushed her menu away from her, not feeling hungry anymore
