    Kaori, being one of the most unromantic souls on earth, had no idea where or how to begin a date thing. There weren’t really much choices in riverclan, so she’d settled beside a climbable tree with a swing and a large rockpool that connected with the main river. Whether aspenkit minded or not, kaori didn’t know. kaori didn’t know if she was supposed to bring gifts or food, so she was empty handed. aspenkit could have the embarrassment if he brought anything along.
    There the feline waited with a rather blank expression on her face, staring into space.

    Aspenkit was entirely incapable of romance. It wasn't just the tom's age, no, but his general personality barred any sort of relationship with others that wasn't platonic. But, he was pretty determined to make friends with Kaori. Asp considered this less of a date and more of a 'get-to-know-you' session. He wasn't sure what to bring, but ended up collecting a small basket filled with various freshkill options and fruits. Hopefully Kaori would want to eat something.


    Arriving to the scene, the mottled kitten gave a bashful smile, basket swinging in his jaws. This place was the coolest thing ever! As Aspenkit took in the swing, tree, and the pool, his grin widened, setting down the basket. "I brought, uh, food!" he squeaked shyly, paws shuffling. "This place is s-so cool!"
