A light rain fell to the forest ground as a roll of thunder grumbled in the high grey sky. Little drops of water sparkled and gleamed as they dropped from the arching heavens, decorating the trees as the caught on bright green leaves and prickly needles of the towering pines and weeping willows. Purple flashed through the steel clouds, temporarily illuminating a single figure that was slowly making their way through the undergrowth.

The bright blue color of the feline stood out against from the cinereal of the environment, looking unnatural compared to the softer shades of green and brown surrounding the silhouetted figure. Leaves crunched underneath wet and muddied paws as the animal weaved in and out of the dark trunks of the trees; going in no direction in particular, only to stop at intervals to sniff a plant or admire the birds that fluttered through the emerald canopy. A smile graced the feline's half skeletal jaw as her golden blue eyes absorbed the beauty that surrounded her.

She took 'stopping to smell the roses' to a whole new level, and she looked like she was one beaded necklace away from hugging trees. "Sorry to interrupt your nature watching, but I'll need your name and business." The dyed caracal shook a leaf from his paw, and he waited for a reply of some sort, dividing his attention between observing her and staring at a rock. It was surprisingly difficult; that rock was very interesting, as far as rocks went.

violet hopped up from behind marauder, her pelt was quite blue as her's was quite purple, sitting down beside marauder did she smile. nature was beautiful, soft and perfect, though it had a bad side as well as a good; it was unforgiving. casting the fem with her soft violet gaze did she wait for the fem to reply to the male that sat beside her.

Angryangel approached behind Violet and Marauder. His cyan eyes were muddled with a curious confusion at the strange pelt color and bone jaw of the jaguar. He simply offered a grim,"Hallo..." to the stranger and gathered himself in a defensive and slightly reserved stance for the time being.

  • [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 700px]The oddity of the blue against normally green and brown hues peaked his curiosity. The tom-cat padded slowly toward the scene, wondering what on earth the azure color was. As he neared, taking a spot beside Violet, he learned it was a jaguar. Tim remained silent as everything had already been asked. A concerned look did take hold of his features as he took note of her exposed jawbone.

The roll of thunder, surprisingly, was precisely the thing that had pulled Ghost away from his daydreams. Not in a violent way, but rather in a pleasant 'I'd love to go out for a walk' kind of way. The lack of things to do and the promise of rain on the air had lulled him into a calm sleep underneath one of the many trees dotting Boneclan's territory, the pale mist forming a blanket ontop his pale form.

But it was merely the promise of rain that put him to sleep. The rain itself couldn't put more life and vigor into the small pup. The light raindrops awoke him, plopping down on his nose causing it to curl in discomfort. Yet the moment that the borzoi realized why exactly the sky was falling, his eyes lit up with excitement and a sudden curiosity filled him. Rain - he had only actually been out in the rain a total of five times, and all the other days were full of unending heat or cold. Rain was something rare, and therefore worth exploring in.

That was why his tiny paws were now pattering through the muddy undergrowth, his previously light cream fur now stained and dirtied, clinging to his form rather ungracefully. He looked like any pup would at this given moment, however. A bright grin on his face, no troubles in the world. Just him, the rain, and the earth that caked his form.

Ghost was rather enjoying the white noise of the rain and his pawsteps until the silence was broken. At first irritation entered his form, but like always his curiosity soon flooded in, replacing all other thoughts and actions. His whole form froze, nearly sending him spiraling down into the ground at the sudden stop. There. He thought he had only imagined the voices, but as he listened closer he could hear the quiet tones, nearly inaudible through the patter of the rain, which Ghost was sure was getting stronger by the second.

Another roll of thunder passed by, ripping Ghost out of his thoughts. It was like the thunder was the signal to "go," for the moment that it ended, the pup suddenly burst forward in a sudden bolt of energy, tongue lolling out as he raced towards where the group was, quicker, quicker, until he burst out of the undergrowth, nearly slamming straight into Violet, but instead skidding to a clumsy halt and falling on his butt, caking it with the same mud that was previously only on his paws.

And he stared up brightly at the fem, a gentle yet bright smile on his maw. He was excited to know where she came from. His own wanderlust made him want to travel around, and his curiosity was almost never clenched. He wanted to know where she came from, how she got here, why she smelled different and all other things. But he stayed quiet. There was a small voice at the back of his head reminding him that there was a time for that... later.

And so, the Borzoi's rump started to swish back and forth as his tail started thumping happily against the ground, sending mud up everywhere and splattering him with more dirt. But it wasn't like he was deeply troubled by this.
