She'd never held a gardening class before, but she figured that now was a good a time as ever. Pots and bowls that she had painted various colors were filled with dirt and strewn about, a packet of seeds set beside each. Was she missing anything? There was nothing she could think of that was missing, but then again, she didn't have the best memory. "I'm holding a gardening class for anyone who would like to join," she called, sitting in front of the equipment she'd set out, waiting for others to join her.

The servaline would chirp: finding gardening quite a tranquil and relaxing hobby to take part in. It always felt nice to plant.. kindle.. and grow things, after all. Plus, flowers had always been something that the servaline had liked, and therefore, planting them would be all the better.

Gardening did not sound like a Bokuto thing. Anything that required patience or elegance was very rarely a Bokuto thing. But the owl-loving tabby trotted over anyway, offering a bright smile. "Hey hey hey, I'll try it!" It'd probably be even better if Akaashi came over too so that he could show off his sick gardening skills. Then again, he wasn't sure he had any skills yet. Maybe- maybe Akaashi shouldn't come over after all. Didn't he already have a list of his weaknesses? He didn't want to watch 'gardening' get added to it.

  • rho trotted over with a smile. she loved gardening. the girl already knew what she needed to know... but this would still be fun "i'll p-p-participate." she purred, taking a seat with the rest of the small girl.

Suiteheart stepped over, lopsided grin playing on her features. Gardening classes sounded good to her, and she was glad she'd bestowed this task upon Lea considering the fae's love of flowers. "Count me in," the deputy said, taking a seat beside Tama.

Ears perked, Lit would come over with Chief following after just to sit on her head. "I'll, uh, j-join" she said as she sat close by, the bird nodding their head, "jOiN" he cawed.

Oh, lovely, the other was going to try gardening out of all things. He would offer the other a sideways glance, in a look of confusion. Was that really something Bokuto was willing to practice? He hoped the experience wasn't too bad. Akaashi would merely nod to announce that he would be participating, even if it was mostly to monitor the other male. After all, he had to be there to apologize when something caught on fire.

Clearing her throat, Lea sat up a bit straighter as she saw more people join. "I've uh… never held a gardening class before, but I guess there's a first for everything. Right. So, the first thing you'll want to do is make a small hole in your dirt. Don't make it too deep, or else it won't be able to grow," she said, digging a small hole so the others could see. "Next, you'll need to open up your seed packets and put it in the hole. Once that's done, put the dirt overtop and pat it down firmly."

She'd give an enthusiastic nod, listening carefully to the instructions, before putting them into practice with a vivacious chirp. "Got it, Lea!" The leader would then aim to take a fore-paw, the one that had sustained less of the burn wounds, and prodded a hole into the soil. She'd then pick up the packet of seeds, and try her best to, ah, open them but.. To no particular avail. It took her a while, and when the packet was finally torn open, the seeds happened to burst from their container, splaying the ground. "A-Ah-" Oh no. Oh no. Okay, the servaline would try her best to pick up as many of the fallen seeds as possible, fumbling, and biting down on her bottom lip, as she realised how silly she had been. Aaah, she should have thought that through.

Okay, make a hole. Using his forepaws, he dug his hole, which was maybe a bit too big. Actually, a fair bit too big. Oh well; it'd be fine, he was sure. Now to put the seeds in. He watched Tama first, noting how her packet burst open. Hm... he didn't want to embarrass himself by doing the same thing after already seeing that mistake made. So instead he picked the packet up carefully between his teeth and placed it in the hole, unopened. That done, he started to put dirt back on top of it, grinning with pride. Glancing at Akaashi, he winked, as though telling him to look at what a great job he'd done. Man, he should be a Gardening Ace or something.

  • [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 1px transparent; width: 450px; font-family: times new roman; auto;]Seemed easy enough. The albino serval began to scoop out pawfuls of dirt, her pale pink optics flitting briefly over her clanmates. She picked up one of the seed packets at random, not really minding which was what, and placed a few seeds in the hole she had dug. "W-where did you learn to g-garden, Lea?" inquired Harleen politely as she began to pile the dirt on top of the seeds. [/fancypost]

Chuckling softly, she padded over to Tama and attempted to pick up the seeds, pursing her lips when her large paws wouldn't allow her to. "Hey, maybe they'll grow like this," she said, digging up some dirt where the seeds had fallen before patting the soft dirt back into the ground once the seeds were covered. "Ah-" she shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips when she saw Bokuto. "Here, try this," she said, aiming to open the package and help him re-plant them. Turning to Harleen, she said, "I kind of just taught myself. My parents were pretty busy, and I didn't know many people who gardened, let alone were willing to teach me."
