He wasn't sure how the attack was being arranged and whether or not it was something allies would get involved in, he was just following the will of his clanmate. Since she was behind him, he didn't notice Southbound, although he did hear her approaching and began to turn around to face her. She moved more quickly than he could register in time to fight her off and felt teeth go into his flank, and in an instant there was a sharp, burning sensation as a patch of his flesh, albeit small, was ripped away. He was rendered alert enough to attempt to avoid her tackle, baring his teeth and aiming to sink them into her as she came at him, going directly for the shoulder. if successful, he would try to take a bite out of her in kind.

    Just another raid. Perhaps it was revenge? After all, that male that had trespassed was present. Of course, wasting effort on him would be less then useful.     [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 460px; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 98%; text-align: justify;text-transform:lowercase;][glow=#fff,8,400]✮[/glow] he felt a surprising wave of annoyance when she swerved out of the way of his teeth; he didn't enjoy fighting, so he decided it was likely to do with his hunger. he hadn't eaten in a while given his very specific dietary needs and his preference to hold off on acting on his hunger until it was so desperate that he couldn't go without fulfilling it. there would certainly have been nothing to complain about if he had managed to get a bite out of her. his attention would remain on her as she skidded before she came at him again, attempting to latch on to his neck. he would not allow her to bite into his neck, instead aiming to physically butt heads with her as she came near, using momentum for lack of brute strength. it could potentially hurt his head too, but at the moment he wasn't concerned about that.
