Holy shit, was Ferrisen tired. The year-old feline was exhausted from his day of walking. Thoughts had crowded his already too-full mind, and the only thing that would help them was thinking. When Ferris had a lot of stuff on his mind, he liked to stroll through thick, lush forests. However, he lived in a desert. Sure, there was a forest not too far away, but he was lazy. These thought had to have been thought about immediately.

Moving to a new clan was a pretty darn big event in his life, and it took a toll on the weary cat. He was never one for change, and this change made him want to fall down the rabbit hole of denial and never come back. There were too many new, strange people. They had too many foreign beliefs and ways, and Ferris thought that he would never fit in. He was too ordinary, too dull. He was definitely not a DarkClanner.

But maybe that would change. He wasn't an optimist, but he also wasn't a total pessimist. Besides, these strangers seemed friendly. All of them were quite interesting. [color=white]"Ergh." Ferris grumbled, as his brain was exhausted. The silver tabby was sprawled out against the ground, resting under the shade of a rather large rock. Man, was he tired. He swished his tail, and squeezed his eyes shut. This was exhausting.

Ash had thought about how they were going to approach him ever since he joined. That being, how they were going to approach the normal stranger. Should they just hostility to threaten him, or kindness to earn his trust? Ashatill hadn't decided, but feeling the confusion tilted by anger gave them their answer. Their tail tip flicked as they approached the male, a little snort escaping their jaws.

"Okay, dude. I don't know your deal here, but I can't have someone who knows me walking around a blabbing about my history, okay? I don't know where the hell you're from, and I don't care, Tribe, Taskforce X, Blizzardclan, I don't care where you know me. I really don't. But you utter one word about what I've done in the past, and you won't like it. I just gained the trust of these people, and I'm starting over now. Don't. Do it." Ash went on their mini-rant with a lashing ebony tail.

Oh, boy. When Ash sauntered over, Ferris pricked his ears forward. He sat up rather lazily, and blinked. What was their problem? At their harsh words, he furrowed his brow. [color=white]"I'm not from anywhere. I was a loner." He responded. [color=white]"And I'm definitely not from any of those places. The only group that I was ever in was ArcadianClan." Ferris said, muttering the last part. He didn't know what these people thought about his home clan, and hoped that it wasn't too bad.

[color=white]"I don't know you. Even if I did, I'm not gonna be goin' around and telling them stuff they wouldn't even believe." He retorted, his voice monotone. Ash's words worried him. What were they willing to hide? Ferris didn't know, but they seemed ready to do some harm.

Ash looked skeptical still. They face held confusion. "Then how the hell do I know you?!" Ash said with a frustrated groan, placing their head in their paws for a moment. "Just... Don't fuck this up for me. I'm starting over." Ash grumbled, brushing past him as if they were going to leave. Their shoulder bumped into his body. A memory shot through her mind. Complete darkness, blurry vibrations and bodies pressing against each other and a warm smell of milk. They gasped at their sudden memory, heart racing. "What the... How old are you?" They demanded suddenly, seeming more afraid than angry.

    /rUSHED AF SORRY

[color=white]"I dunno." He replied, lashing his tail once. He wasn't really in the mood to defuse Ash's attitude, and he definitely wasn't in the mood to talk. Ferrisen sighed once, and shook his head. Part of him wondered why the cinnamon-furred feline was so curious about him, and the other part was flat out confused. He stared at the ground, and decided to ignore his sibling's statement.

Ferris pricked his ears forward at Ash's next words. An unsettling feeling washed over him, and he began to knead his paws into the dry ground. Why were they asking so many questions? Ferrisen didn't really like it. [color=white]"Er, I'm not really sure. Twelve moons? Thirteen?" The tomcat estimated, narrowing his eyes with blatant suspicion. [color=white]"I don't keep track... Why?" It was his turn to ask a question, even if it was a dumb one.

"Because you... Because you're too fucking familiar! I'm a year old now - I just turned it like a week ago! Are you sure you don't... You don't recognise me at all?" Ash would ask, shaking their held wildly.

[color=white]"I dunno. You kind of smell funny, though." He meowed, raising nonexistent brows. He sat there for a moment, and then went back and corrected himself. [color=white]"I mean, not in a bad way. You just don't smell like anyone else I've met here." Ferrisen stated. Ash seemed awfully testy right now, and he guessed that it was not a good time to piss them off. He had already fluffed up his gray fur, but he began to swish his tail restlessly.

[color=white]"Whaddare you hintin' at?" Ferris asked with a flick of an ear.

"Fuck - I'm that old too. Uh... You too. You smell... Familiar. Do you think... Do you think we might be... siblings?" Ash would finally ask nervously, eyebrows sewn together. Their tail was swishing back and forth, gazing at the familiar marbled feline. Finally, they sat down and bit their lip, knowing this conversation was to be lengthy.
