Oh man, Ferris was finally here. After a while of walking through foreign territory, the feline was tired of seeing new sights. He didn't want to see any new, cold mountains, or any slightly-different trees. The only thing he wanted to see was a place to sleep and food. Being a loner had taken its toll on the feral cat, and he was regretting leaving his father's clan very much. Ferris sat his butt down on the ground, trying to ignore the desert-y landscape. This was way more different than anything he had seen so far. The silver tabby kneaded his sore paws into the dry dirt, anxiety working its way onto his usually blank face.

Ferris didn't want to be the new guy, but really, he had no other option. Besides, this place seemed to be pretty big. The borders were marked very well, as only a cat with no nose-- or a serious death wish-- would be able to walk past it. The cat fluffed up his pelt, rather defiantly, in an attempt to make him seem larger than he really was. He was quite skinny, so he would be an easy target if anyone decided to hurt him. However, he wasn't very noticeable. He guessed that he would probable be invisible once he was accepted.

The tabby cleared his throat and pawed the ground. "Hello? I'm joining." Ferris meowed in attempted monotone. He shifted his weight, and sat there. Surely there would be some sort of patrol soon.

Ash took a breath before letting it escape their lips. They happened to be outside most of their lives, and easily came across the shape of the male. Considering their mostly flat land, it was pretty easy to spot him. When they got in earshot if the words, they grinned crookedly. It had seemed they had gained it popularity recently.

"Welcome to the --" Ash cut themselves off, stopping in their tracks as they had drawn nearer. Their gaze narrowed and mouth parted to taste the air, breathing in the familiar scent of this... of this stranger. Ash felt apprensive. Their gaze held an ounce of confusion, but more distrust than anything. "clan..." They finished, looking him up and down and raking their brain for any form of memory of the male. Their steps continued, pacing around the male in slow movements. "Do I... Do I know you?" They would question delicately.

    /WOO WELCOME
okay now goodnight im going to try to sleep now im fucking tired

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; font-size: 8pt; line-height:150%; text-align: justify]the male brushed up against ash before sitting beside her, these new joiners were a good thing in his eyes. besides, the ones that had joined including his five siblings were pretty great thus far. but of course as the saying goes, 'all good things must come to an end', holocaust didn't quite fear the end of it. that just meant more opportunities in the future for better things. the snow leopard blinked as ash spoke of welcomes, his grassy greens shot to the thin male as she spoke of knowing him. or maybe they did know one another, it still was something to be surprised at. holo had never asked ash about her life before darkclan so it was only natural that he knew nothing of the male. "welcome to the clan, im holocaust," his deep voice hummed slowly, eyeing ferris.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent;]After her somewhat embarrassing joining not to long ago, Serialsuccess ended up always bringing three containers of fresh water and some berries whenever she ventured a bit into the desert. This was the first time after her own introduction to the clan that she actually gained the guts to make it to the border, though of course this whole time she was following Ash and Holocaust a bit discreetly.

The dragon glanced between her two known clanmates, an uneasiness settling in the pit of her stomach as Ash mentioned knowing him, but at the same time a lighthearted relief swept through her muscles. Maybe they'd come across each other hunting before or something, but surely it wasn't bad? If so, she'd probably have to get out of there soon. And yet, she introduced herself as well, "Um. I'm Serialsuccess, though you can call me Seri if you want." The child stated, still unaware of her roots and thus not mentioning her last name.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]The behemoth of a wolf came stepped up beside his clanmates, his cloak of invisibility falling from his shoulders as he arrived with his smoldering gaze fixed onto the unfamiliar feline. It felt weird, standing beside clanmates he wasn't all that familiar with, but that awkwardness he felt while standing around these three was not an emotion that could be sensed by them. His nicked ear fluttering, his salmon pink tongue swiping over his rubbery black lips, he lowered himself into a seat. He hadn't missed what Ash had said a few moments ago and this had caused him to raise an nonexistent eyebrow in wonder. Did these two know each other?

A huff leaving him, he decided it would be best if he didn't look like an idiot standing there. "Yokoso, I go by Kizami Walker but you may nickname me Kiza if you want to. Hajimemashite. If you need anything, you can come to me." With the general introduction out of the way, the general fell silent once more.

  • Hmm. Another joiner. Interesting. Oprah was the next to arrive, her Odd Squad badge glinting in the sunlight and her chest fur puffed out. "Hey there, welcome. I'm Agent Oprah." she spoke, conjuring up a nice cool grape juice box this time and drinking it.

At Ash's appearance, Ferris blinked. The tomcat flicked his tail at their greeting, and muttered a thanks. He shuffled his paws meekly. When his accquaintance asked him a question, Ferris began to feel his ears grow hot. Did he know this DarkClanner? Oh lordy, he couldn't remember. Maybe... but then again, maybe not. "No." He blurted out, eager to escape the eyes that stared down at him. It might have been suspicious, but it wasn't like he was ready to wreak havoc.

Ferris twitched his raggedy whiskers when Holocaust wandered over. He nodded with understanding, perhaps a bit to vigorously, and shifted once more. "Thanks. Ferris." He replied, in addition to introducing himself. The tabby flicked an ear. He gave the other two creatures a nod as well. "Hi, Serialsuccess. Hi, Kizami. Hi, Oprah." He stumbled over the first name, but he thought that he pronounced the wolf's name pretty well. The other wolf had an easy name. Ferris gave the four a small, uneasy smile, and perked his ears forward. These people were okay.

"Are you... Are you sure? Did you ever reside in The Tribe of Burning Dreams?" They asked cautiously. Having another murderer in the clan would likely not be the best, but otherwise, Ash had no idea of how they would know the male. Their gaze was narrow and their body was stiff. They felt.... Uneasy about all of this.

Ash retreated to beside Holo, letting their pelt brush against his lightly in a form of comforting themselves. They did not like this feeling.

  • /welcome to the...BLACK PARADE (sorry im trash)

The Body padded to take a spot beside Kiza, blinking underneath their mask. Mr. Benzedrine cleared their throat. Welcome to DarkClan. I'm Mr. Benzedrine, but you don't have to be really formal with my name. They said, questioning if they should also allow Stumppaw to speak. Pondering for a second, they decided not to. Stumppaw could be introduced...later, they supposed.

have you ever wanted to disappear?

[sub]"I'm Nivata, or Niva if you prefer a nickname," or anything else that resembled one, but no one generally attempted to shorten it further. The stranger sounded rather nervous, or so his body language and abrupt answer vaguely directed. She wondered why momentarily, and her right ear twitched in acknowledgment at Ash's mention of the Tribe, however it didn't too much bother her where the newcomer had arrived from; she'd accepted Bill for Christ's sake (although she'd admit that as a mistake), so it would be odd if she had much of an opinion on this guy. "It's nice to meet you," she chuckled, presenting a friendly smile to the other. [/fancypost]

Ferris cocked his head to the left at Ash's question. He didn't recall that name of that tribe. "Nah." The feline responded in the same one-syllable response, in a more casual way. Ferris was definitely not a murderer. He was pretty lame, which was a stark contrast from anyone who kills people. He'd be the most boring murderer ever. He stood up rather stiffly and swished his crooked tail.

"Hi, Mr. Benzedrine." Ferrisen meowed. That was quite a mouthful. He turned to the other cat, and pricked his ears forward. Huh. This lady seemed pretty cool. "Hi. Nice t'meet you." The feline said. He didn't really know how to keep conversations with new people going. Ferris gave the two a lopsided smile, and shifted once more.

"Then why do you... You smell familiar." Ash muttered, a confused expression resting on their facial features. They seemed to give up slightly. "well, welcome, I guess. I'm Ash."
