Oh man, Ferris was finally here. After a while of walking through foreign territory, the feline was tired of seeing new sights. He didn't want to see any new, cold mountains, or any slightly-different trees. The only thing he wanted to see was a place to sleep and food. Being a loner had taken its toll on the feral cat, and he was regretting leaving his father's clan very much. Ferris sat his butt down on the ground, trying to ignore the desert-y landscape. This was way more different than anything he had seen so far. The silver tabby kneaded his sore paws into the dry dirt, anxiety working its way onto his usually blank face.
Ferris didn't want to be the new guy, but really, he had no other option. Besides, this place seemed to be pretty big. The borders were marked very well, as only a cat with no nose-- or a serious death wish-- would be able to walk past it. The cat fluffed up his pelt, rather defiantly, in an attempt to make him seem larger than he really was. He was quite skinny, so he would be an easy target if anyone decided to hurt him. However, he wasn't very noticeable. He guessed that he would probable be invisible once he was accepted.
The tabby cleared his throat and pawed the ground. [color=white]"Hello? I'm joining." Ferris meowed in attempted monotone. He shifted his weight, and sat there. Surely there would be some sort of patrol soon.
