• Honestly, Trevor didn't know what in the world he was thinking sometimes. One moment, he's just lying under the stars writing a song in the Windclan camp and the next he's noticing that the night sky looks absolutely amazing, which causes him to teleport away from his usual songwriting space in search of a friend. Having written a note, he left it for said friend, hoping it would be read as soon as possible. Now, here he was, sitting on a rock and staring up at the sky. Upon hearing footsteps, he turned, giving a smile.

"Sorry I sent that note so late, but stargazing happened. I really need to get some new hobbies, don't I?"
Luckily for Trevor, the little night-owl had been awake, and had spotted the note on his way back to his dwelling; on reading it, he'd turned around, abandoned his plans of reading and getting some rest and headed off towards where the note had directed him to, eventually spotting the other boy. Ah, yes - this was the rather friendly fellow who'd joined recently, wasn't it? Just a little taller than Felix, just a little younger, and far more confident. It made the somewhat effeminate boy rather conscious of his size, but not to the point of shyness - he was not that shy.

A warm smile lifted his lips as Trevor turned and spoke to him, and he shook his head. " It's fine! I love stargazing - and constellations. Do you know any? " he asked, settling beside the rock.

  • "Sadly, only a few. I can spot Hydra, Andromeda, and Leo Minor," Trevor answered with a purr, tail curling neatly over his paws. Not that the tom would ever admit it aloud, he had a crush on Felix. He found the other male to be an absolute sweetheart, one that he wished to protect from the world, despite the fact that Felix was slightly older. He gave the native Windclanner a gentle smile. This was nice, something that Trevor couldn't screw up or else he could risk losing this friendship.
" Not even the Plough? " Felix looked a little bemused, but his smile was nonetheless mirthful, and it was clear he wasn't genuinely disappointed. He nodded nonetheless, somewhat impressed. " Not many recognise Hydra and Leo Minor, I'll say. Andromeda's ... difficult to spot during this time of the year, but nonetheless pretty. " unaware of Trevor's thoughts, he twisted his expression into something innocent and curious, tipping back his head with a quiet sigh. " I have a book on constellations, if you'd ever like to borrow it. It has modern, former and Chinese constellations in it. I'm trying to see if I can see Coma Berenices, at the moment. It's not very bright, but ... " hopefully, with the clear air, it would perhaps be visible.

  • "I'd like that very much, thanks. Maybe we can search together?" Trevor replied, eyes bright with happiness. "...I think I might see it. Oh no, sorry about that, false alarm," he answered, optics dimming. Nice job, Trevor. You really messed it up this time, he thought to himself.
Felix gave a quiet breath of laughter as Trevor spoke - it was not his high-pitched, genuine giggle, but it was nonetheless amused. " Here, Trevor. Look at this. " he extended a paw and began to loosely sketch Coma Berenices in the dirt, before allowing the limb he'd just drawn with to light up yellow, bathing the scribbled artwork in a sulphuric glow, allowing the other boy to view his creation. " It looks like that, roughly. I don't know what angle it'll be at, but ... that's it. "

  • Trevor's smile reappeared, studying the sketch that Felix had drawn before he glanced back up at the sky. "Yep, I've definitely found it this time," the black tom kit replied, purr continuing. "I want to apologize for the sudden change of topic, however I'd like to get know you a bit more."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; line-height: 14px; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify]
Felix returned his eyes to the sky as Trevor started speaking again, and he huffed at first, before glancing back to the boy at the, as he put it, 'sudden change of topic'. " Oh, no, that's fine. I don't mind! What do you want to know about me, Trevor? "
    [/fancypost] #felixalexius

  • "First question would be, if you could spend one day with a hobby of yours, what hobby would that be?" Trevor questioned, intrigued at what Felix might have to say in response.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; line-height: 14px; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify]
Oh, that one was easy! " Mathematics, definitely. I have many books on the subject, and I enjoy it more than any other study - though history is a close second. " supposedly, though, he looked like a mathematician. " Am I allowed to return the inquiry, or are you the one asking all the questions? " his tone became playful, here, and a smile lifted his lips.
    [/fancypost] #felixalexius

  • "That sounds really cool, Felix. As for asking me questions, go for it. I'll answer absolutely anything and everything," Trevor replied, features bright with a smile. The kit was even being honest, any inquiry someone had, Trevor would answer.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; line-height: 11px; font-size: 8pt; text-align: left; width: 460px;]Felix wasn't an immodest person. He also wasn't the type to fish for compliments. But he knew that he was ... compliant, a bit of a pushover, and others were inclined to spin tales to keep him nearby. Not that he minded, of course — he liked the closeness of friends, regardless of how genuine or false those friends were — but he liked to know where he stood. The kitten dropped and rolled onto his back, eyes on Trevor. " Hmm ... what do you think of me? Aside from the fact that I have utterly boring hobbies and a fine taste in friends. " he grinned, here, teeth white in the darkness. Even in jest, he played nice, working compliments into his speech.

  • "I say that you are a very intelligent, amazingly sweet guy. You make some pretty great jokes, plus you're just plain awesome, inside and out. I know that I can trust you with absolutely anything. Long story short, you're a great friend and I hope that our friendship lasts for an extremely long amount of time," Trevor rattled off in a kind tone that was paired with a smile as he laid down on the terrain, head on his paws.
