    Manaphy was called over at the sound of Xerneas's pained cries. The water rabbit carried herself over through a river running beneath the islands and then floated upwards, placing herself down on the chunk of floating land. That was when she saw the fight taking place.




    Letting out a yell of desperation for her friends to stop, Mana darted forth. She was weak to electricity. She knew that. And yet she tossed herself in front of Xerneas so Yvetal's attack would hit her instead. Maybe it was stupid, maybe it was brave. That was for the others to decide.




    All she knew was that she was doing it.

    However, this was not exactly the best situation to think on old times. The male would rush forward, moving to bring up the earth to block the attack from reaching Xerneas and Manaphy. Idiots.

    The rock that burst up between Manaphy and Yvetal forced Mana backwards, sending her flying into Xerneas. She quickly turned on her elementals to control the water that made up her body to wrap around Xerneas to slow his fall backward. If they fell surely one of them could do something about it, but that was only if bad went to worse. And for now Manaphy believed she could keep things at least somewhat safe for the mortals around here.

    When Mana caught a glimpse of Yvetal trying to scoop up Xerneas she extended her water elementals so that Xerneas was being carried away from his rival in a gentle river. Then she looked towards Yvetal and cried out, "Y-Yes it is, Yvetal! Please stop! Don't hurt him! He's not fighting back!" Her voice was somewhat muffled by the flow of her pelt, but she was trying her hardest.

    Manaphy screamed as she saw the lightning flaring through the air. Many bolts struck her, causing her elementals to recede. It hurt so much. She could hardly breathe when she was reformed as the water bunny she usually was. She was extremely weak to electricity. If she was able to bleed she would have, but instead she just laid there, heaving for air and trying to calm herself.




    But her navy gaze lifted slowly to see Xerneas being thrown by Yvetal and she cried out once more, trying to reach him. But she was too weak. So instead she crumpled into a small puddle. She would regain her strength soon, but for now she was unable to, literally, keep herself together.

    Seeing him rise to his feet, Mana's closing navy eyes brightened. He was going to fight back! Mana began to slowly reform, shrinking into a rabbit once again. But she wasn't strong enough just yet to continue usage of her elementals. However, if worse came to worse she would attempt to do so, if Xer needed protecting.




    She would protect Big Rainbow Deer Guy no matter the cost.

It crashed easily over the protective dome she was contained in. Mana hoped it would block most of the energy from Yvetal's attack. Then she turned over toward Xer, who was kept in a dome as well. She let out a sigh of relief and then tried to leap toward it.




    "R-Rainbow Guy? You okay in there?" She called, her voice growing hoarser with each word. She was exhausted from the Waterfall, but she needed to make sure he hadn't fainted. That would be the worst case scenario right now.
