Skylar coughed softly after hearing a knock. "Come in." She spoke in a sick voice. She could feel herself getting sick. She hated it, her throat was sore and it felt like there were needles in her throat. She hated how she got sick over night so easily. She rubbed her eyes before letting them fall to her sides. She looked a little more pale than usual and her body was very warm, her body was sore and numb feeling from her being sick adding to it.

Skylar gasped when she saw her dog and Xavier. She laughed when her dog jumped up onto the bed with her. She hissed in pain when he stepped on her and moved him from off her but still on the bed. The dog licked her and Skylar giggled before hugging her dog. She looked up at Xavier with a big smile. "Xavier you never seize to amaze me. I mean you are just amazing. I can't believe you found him! Why? Where?" She couldn't get all her words out.

Skylar watched him walk over and sit down next to the bed. She looked down at his hand that pet her dog and brushed his fingers against hers. She felt a small shock but didn't question it. She looked back up at him smiling sweetly at him. "You are so sweet Xavier." She spoke in a soft voice. Her eyes watched him with curiousity.

Skylar's smile grew seeing his blush but decided not to tease him. "Did you really go out and look for him? How long were you out for? Where did you even keep him until now?" She asked questions curiously. She couldn't believe he could be so sweet as to look for him. She then frowned worried. "What were you thinking to get out of this?" She asked concerned. Sky knew he was very sweet but she didn't trust easily and though everyone who did something nice wanted something in return and usually it wasn't good from what she has been through.

Skylar stared at him for a moment unsure before smiling softly. Her cheeks turned pink as she looked away and at her dog. "I'm-I'm sorry Xavier. It is just my automatic response to people who are so nice... I just have a terrible history but I won't bore you with that." She spoke softly. She bit her lip as she pet her dog softly finally looking up at Xavier after a moment.

Skylar suddenly felt tense as she looked at Xavier. He looked angry and she couldn't help but worry. She curled her toes as she shifted uncomfortably as his eyes were on hers. "I-I'm sorry if I offended you Xavier." She spoke in a weak voice. Her grip on her dog tightened slightly and her heart began to race. Sky tried to keep her breathing control as she became slightly scared. "Please don't be mad at me." She begged quietly.

Skylar sighed softly and looked away from him. She only relaxed slightly still on edge. "Yeah I guess." She spoke softly. She watched her dog as she ran her fingers through his fur. She shifted but soon hissed in pain. Her dog got off of the bed and laid down next to it moving his eyes between Xavier and her. Sky tried to sit up more but realized that it hurt and quickly laid herself back down. She groaned and rested her head against the pillow and closed her eyes. "Getting hit by a car is not fun." She spoke softly with pain in her voice.

Skylar opened her eyes and looked over at him. She wanted him to stay but she was nervous. She felt like she would only make a fool of herself. She smiled softly at him as she decided what to say. "It's up to you. I just don't want to bore you." She spoke softly. Sky then reached out and grabbed his hand squeezing it softly. "Again, thank you for all that you have done. It may not mean that much to you but it means so much to me." She spoke softly.

Skylar felt something coarse through her when they touched but ignored it once again. She looked down at their hands watching him move his hand to hold hers better. She looked back up at him with a small smile. "I don't understand why you are thanking me. You are the one doing all of these amazing things for me and I am just laying here in pain." She spoke simply.

Skylar could only laugh with him and she shook her head looking away. She noticed their hands were still together and she sucked in a breathe. She looked back up at Xavier with tinted cheeks. She let her eyes scan him for a moment. "Your parents raised you greatly." She spoke and laughed softly.
