Solarfang stared at the medicine cat den. He strained his eyes to look in, but saw nothing.

Morningsong started to look worried thinking she wouldn't get the treatment she needed.

Ooc: Should we just wait until the medicine cat comes? Because all this worrying is getting repetitive.. xD

ooc: Lol xD I dunno. The med cat usually is out in the forests and stuff and not in camp, even when he is on xD

Ooc: You know what. I'm making a medicine cat. Isn't Brackenleaf the medicine cat apprentice? Whatever. xD I'll make the medicine cat anyways...

Solarfang thought he saw something move inside the medicine cat den. "Rainheart?" He meowed.

Rainheart got up after hearing her name being called. "Yes?" She mewed. She padded out of her den and saw Morningsong on the floor. She rushed over to her. "What happened?" Rainheart meowed.

'Solarfang and I were racing to the cliffs and I leaped through the bushes, planning to surprise him but beyond the bushes was no land so I fell down the cliff to a ledge and hurt my paw. Solarfang helped me out though.' She looked at him with loving like eyes.

Flamecloud watched with his eyes wide, he whispered to Coldfire,"do you have any idea what just happened?" He glanced at Morningsong, then at the dead body in the clearing.

Solarfang smiled at Morningsong.

Rainheart shook her head. "Can you walk?" She asked Morningsong. A list of herbs ran through Rainheart's head as she waited for a response.

Coldfire looked at Flamcloud and shook her head. "All I know is that a cat is dead, and Morningsong is hurt." She mewed to him.

'On three legs.' She mewed and then said,'If i try and walk on this paw it hurts so much that i recoil it back up.' She twisted her face in pain, remembering how she tried to walk on it.

Solarfang looked at Morningsong and asked, "Do you want me to help you up?"

Rainheart looked at Morningsong's paw. She made note that it was swelling up. "Yes, yes. Help her now." Rainheart mewed to Solarfang. She padded off to the medicine cat den.

Morningsong used Solarfang to help her get up and whispered in his ear,'Thanks.' She held her paw off the ground.

Solarfang smiled and whispered back, "No problem, it was m fault that you fell anyway." He helped her into the medicine cat den where he set her down on a bed of moss.


Rainheart looked at Solarfang. "I suggest you leave." She meowed. Then, Rainheart turned to Morningsong. "Look away please." She mewed to her.

Morningsong mewed back to Solarfang,'It isn't your fault! It's mine.' She gave a quick lick to his cheek when Rainheart said he should leave. She turned to look at Rainheart and shrugged and looked away from her to stare at the walls lined with herbs.

Solarfang padded out of the medicine cat den, his face warm from Morningsong licking his cheek.

Rainheart examined Morningsong's paw. "Okay. If this hurts, say... Ow. If it doesn't, don't say anything." Rainheart said to Morningsong. She gently poked Morningsong's inflamed paw.

'Ow.' Her ears went back slightly at the pain.

Rainheart padded over to her collection of herbs. She looked around until she saw what she was looking for, Alder. She put some of it in her mouth and started chewing. When Rainheart padded over to Morningsong, she spat the chewed-up alder onto the injured cat's paw. Without wasting any time, she padded back to the collection of herbs and picked out some chamomile flowers, poppy seeds, and poppy petals. She gave all three to Morningsong to eat. "Eat these, they will help you fall alseep while I work on your paw." She meowed.

She nodded okay and reached forward and ate up everything. After a few minutes she was knocked out in a deep sleep.

Rainheart nodded happily, her 'potion' had worked! Quickly, Rainheart dashed over to the wall of herbs. She remembered that the chamomile should have been given after Morningsong awoken, because of the fact that it made cats gain strenth. But it also could be used to sooth cats. Rainheart pulled cobwebs, comfrey and the flower heads of lavender. She brought the lavender up to Morningsong's nose, to calm her nerves, so she would sleep well. Rainheart was sure that Morningsong's paw was broken, so she went back to the wall and got some sticks that were quite straight. She padded back over and placed two sticks inbetween both sides of Morningsong's paw. She then wrapped the paw in cobwebs, to keep the sticks in place. Rainheart picked up the comfrey and put it near Morningsong's face, so she would eat it. She removed the lavender and put it back on the wall.
